We’re a BRAND NEW SOCCER ACADEMY for 4-12 year olds with fresh ideas & training methods all focused on contributing a fantastic offering to the community by creating a warm welcoming, safe & enjoyable environment in which aspiring young footballers can flourish and develop, not only as footballers but also as individuals. We currently run weekly group sessions, 1-1 sessions, Birthday Parties, and After School Groups. We welcome girls, and boys of any level of ability and sessions are tailored to suit everyone. At South Coast Soccer School we see success as helping children become better communicators, and effective team players and enjoy being a child while helping them to develop their soccer skills. Lots of birthday party bookings coming in over the last few weeks and we’re absolutely loving it! 🥳

From football games and competitions to our inflatable football fun, we’re all about giving the kids a party they’ll be talking about afterwards! ⚽️🔥

And honestly… seeing the smiles, celebrations and chaos is one of our favourite parts of what we do! 😂

⚽️ THIS HALF TERM FOCUS ⚽️

We always have a clear focus running through our weekly sessions, this is what is planned this half term👇

🔵 Weeks 1–3 — IN POSSESSION
Moving with the ball ⚽️
• Dribbling & ball control
• Changing direction & speed
• Beating players
• Finding space
• Making decisions with the ball

⚪️ Weeks 4–6 — OUT OF POSSESSION
Marking & defending 🛡️
• Staying with your player
• Tracking runners
• Intercepting
• 1v1 defending
• Winning the ball back for your team

We always put this into practice with games at the end of each session!

They’re 40 yards from goal. 🚀

🗣️ “Pass it!”
Immediately runs away from the ball. 😂

🗣️ “Coach, I was open!”
Was standing behind three defenders. 😂

🗣️ “That was going in!”
Shot has landed somewhere in the next postcode. 😂

🗣️ “Can I take the corner?”
Immediately tries to score directly from it. 😂

🗣️ “I’m staying up front.”
Coach asks them to defend.
“But I’m a striker!” 🤣

🗣️ “HAND!”
Ball hits opponent squarely in the face. 😂

🗣️ “I scored!”
It was an own goal. 👀

🗣️ “How long is left?”
They’ve been playing for approximately 90 seconds. 😂

🗣️ “One more game?”
Mum/Dad has already packed the boots away. 😭
