The latest fitness fad might be shiny, but the basics still work. 👌

Focus on: • Strength train consistently
• Eat plenty of protein + whole foods
• Walk more
• Sleep well
• Stick with it long enough to see results

You don’t need to keep starting over because someone online found a “game changer”.

Do the basics well, give it time, and enjoy your life.

Save this for when you’re tempted by the next fad 👀
Share it with a mate who needs reminding!

You don't need perfect circumstances to make progress. You need a realistic plan and the ability to execute it consistently.

YOU CAN EAT GREGGS AND STILL HIT YOUR PROTEIN 👊🏻

Yep. You read that right.

You don’t need to live on chicken, rice and broccoli to make progress.

Sometimes you’re rushing about, you’ve got work, the bairns, a busy day, or you’re just fancying a Greggs.

That’s life.

The trick isn’t finding the “perfect” food.

It’s knowing your options.

So I’ve put together a Greggs Protein Cheat Sheet with some of the better choices if you’re trying to get more protein in without blowing your calories.

HERE’S HOW TO USE IT 👇🏻

1️⃣ PICK YOUR MAIN

Choose something like the Mexican Chicken Baguette, Tuna Crunch Roll or Ham & Cheese Toastie.

2️⃣ CHECK THE PROTEIN

Don’t just look at calories. Ask yourself:

👉🏻 “How much protein am I getting for those calories?”

3️⃣ BUILD AROUND IT

If your main meal is lower in protein, add something like the egg pot or Greek-style yoghurt.

4️⃣ DON’T OVERCOMPLICATE IT

One Greggs meal isn't going to make or break your progress.

Your results come from what you do most of the time, not whether you had a sausage roll on Thursday afternoon.

And honestly…

I’d much rather you learn how to make sensible choices in the real world than try to eat “perfectly” for two weeks before giving up.

Save this for the next time you’re stood in Greggs wondering what to get.

And send it to a mate who thinks eating on the go means their diet is ruined. 😂

Small choices.
Better habits.
Real life.

Work. Family. Responsibilities. There’s always something that needs you. But keep putting yourself last… eventually you become last.

You don’t need more motivation. You need a bit of momentum.

Ever noticed how hard it can be to get started?

You put something off because the task feels too big, then another day goes by.

But momentum works a bit like a snowball.

It starts small.

One email.
One phone call.
Ten minutes of exercise.
One page of that book.
One job you've been putting off.

None of it feels massive at the time.

But keep going and those small actions start making the next one easier.

Try this today:

1. Pick one thing you've been avoiding.

2. Make the first step ridiculously small.

3. Do it before you feel ready.

4. Repeat it tomorrow.

Don't worry about the massive result just yet.

Just get the snowball moving.

What's your first small move today?

Save this for when you're struggling to get going, and share it with a friend who needs a little nudge.

Eating healthy but still not losing weight?

The donuts are the easy bit… the “I’ll just have one” is where it gets interesting 😂

You don't need to cut carbs.
You don't need to eat “clean” 100% of the time.

You just need to get the basics right:

👉 Know roughly how many calories you're eating
👉 Get plenty of protein + fibre
👉 Leave room for foods you actually enjoy
👉 Aim for consistency, not perfection

Because trying to be too strict all week usually ends with you absolutely demolishing the breakroom donuts on Friday. 😅

Fat loss doesn't require perfection. It requires a plan you can actually stick to.

Save this for your next “sod it, I'll start Monday” moment.

And send it to the mate who mysteriously finds the biscuits every time they're “on a diet”. 👀

Ever wonder why it’s so easy to fall off a good habit?

It’s not because you’re lazy.
Your brain just loves easy + immediate rewards.

Think about it:

🍫 Eat the chocolate → instant reward.
📱 Scroll TikTok → instant stimulation.
🛋️ Skip the gym → instant comfort.

But…

🏃‍♀️ Exercise → reward later.
💷 Save money → reward later.
📚 Read → reward later.

Your brain naturally goes: “Aye, but what do I get NOW?”

And then there’s the other problem…

Good habits often rely on the same cues, same time, same place, same routine.

Change your work hours?
Go on holiday?
Have a stressful week?

Suddenly the habit disappears.

And missing one day can turn into:

“I’ve ruined it now, might as well give up.”

Sound familiar? 😅

So what actually helps?

1. Make the good habit ridiculously easy.
Want to run? Put your trainers by the door.

2. Give yourself an immediate reward.
Listen to your favourite podcast only while walking.

3. Attach it to something you already do.
Coffee → 5 minutes of reading.

4. Stop aiming for perfect.
Missed yesterday? Grand. Start again today.

The goal isn’t to never fall off.

It’s to make getting back on easy.

Save this for the next time you think you’ve “lost your discipline” and send it to a mate who needs the reminder too.
