STIMULUS:
- With short work intervals and in-built rest, we are looking for athletes to work at a high intensity throughout. Push the pace on the machines before aiming to go as close to unbroken as possible on the barbell and gymnastic movements.
- Our pace will be dictated by anaerobic capacity and lactate threshold.

SCALING:
- The barbell weight should be light and one in which we could complete all sets unbroken or with at most one break. Scale by reducing weight accordingly.
- Scale Handstand Push Ups by raising head to reduce range of motion or by performing Box Handstand Push Ups / Hand Release Push Ups.
- Scale Pull Ups by performing Ring Rows / Jumping Pull Ups.

The team turning the week’s ‘athlete spotlight’ to the week’s ‘athlete spotlightS’ - too many stand out performances to only pick one!

- having initially been apprehensive going into 22.3 having never done a Bar Mucle Up before, Daryl managed to get his first (and second!) ones ever! 👏
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Coming into 22.3, Frankie had never managed a single Pull Up before. During the workout she only went and did 18! Yes, 18! 👏
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Taylor put in a real top performance with a seriously impressive time of 10:51 which was enough to push him into the top 10% and earn him a spot in the Quarter Finals! 👏
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Similar to Daryl, Paulo had never managed a Bar Muscle Up previous to 22.3 and again, similar to Daryl, he too went and got his first, and second ones ever! 👏

- Following a top 22.2 score, Jack backed it up this week finishing 22.3 in a very fast 11:43 placing him in the top 20,000 worldwide for the workout! 👏

SCALING:
- The barbell should be light and a weight in which athletes could cycle for at least 15 unbroken snatches when fresh. If needed, scale by reducing weight accordingly.
