Here’s a short video of some shoulder remedial massage I performed on Emma. She’s suffered with shoulder pain for a while but is starting to show signs of improvement 🙌
I used some scapular release technique too to aid pain relief, improve mobility and relax the muscles in the shoulder.
Back, upper back and shoulder pain is very common for those with office jobs where posture is challenged and generally from every day life so massage can relieve tension, improve circulation, remove toxins and reduce stress

Are you suffering with weak hip flexors, do you really feel the front of your hips when performing sit ups or leg lifts?
Are sat down a lot through the day at a desk ?
Then these Psoas band pulls with light that area up and strengthen those hips
Of course followed by some stretching

🌟 feel to tired to go to the gym!
🌟 generally just get overwhelmed!
Then remembering consistent small steps toward your goal whatever that might be is progress
If you are to tired to go to the gym then get yourself out for a walk
If you feel your fat loss goal isn’t happening on the scales remember the non scale wins like clothes fitting better, diet has improved or you are being conscious of the decision’s you are making.
Just keep digging in and keep taking those small steps, they do add up to that big change

So January and February’s challenges have flown by…..
Jan was ‘walk this way’ which the banded crab walk for as many laps of the gym as you could handle!
Big shout out to Sara Gillingham who absolutely blow the field away with an amazing 19 laps 😳
Feb was the huge ‘100 rep’. 25 reps of the following
*Squat to plate press 10kg
*Kettlebell swings 14kg
*barbell cleans 20kg
*goblet squat 10kg
joyce.joycey pinched it right at the end of the month having been joint first with
Great effort as always by everyone who had a go

Here’s an example of don’t solely use exercise for fat loss!
Many people think that working hard in the gym will undo all that happens on the outside
But……….
As you can see this screenshot is from my workout this morning and I burned 213cals and that was potentially generous.
Never think you are burning 400-600 cals each workout because it simply isn’t true!
Strength training is awesome for many reasons but it is just one part of the bigger picture when it comes to weight-fat loss 💪

And just like that the last monthly client challenge of the year is complete
Decembers challenge was to deadlift and hold your body weight for as long as possible
Some really good attempts but it’s was that came out on top of this one……..and by a pretty good margin too 💪
