E A R T H. Not a fitness post, but been changing some things to make the planet stronger.
How?
1. Changed my regular shampoo and conditioner to 'solid bars' from @lush. These are AMAZING and man! I have curly dry fussy (and frizzy!!) locks!! I'll pop which ones on my story.
2. swapping bottled hand soap and shower gels/bubble bath to old school soap bars
3. Swapped the boys lunch boxes to ones where no extra plastic bags/cling film/foil are needed.
3.Got a milkman! glass bottles. From Milk and More.
4. Composting kitchen waste, bought a posh new bin!
5. Taking a travel cup with me to reduce using throw aways when at Costa etc.
6. Bags 4 life, always
7. Laundry washed on Eco 30 degrees.
8. Walking journeys where possible instead of using the car.
9. Recycling, Always.
10. No longer buying in plastic bottles of water, just good old tap water, fridged in a reusable bottle.
.......
Small changes, yes.
Though I feel important that we all do our bit.

just made this. Swapped to a sweet potato and the ham for king prawns.
Lots of filling left, so baked it in a tin and made 4 more meals! serving with a salad. Win!

Personal:
1. To 1RM squat, clean, push press complex at 40kg.
2. To have my conditioning WODs set at 25-30kg bar (currently 20-25kg)
3. incline Leg press 115kg (made 100kg this week 😍)
5. Work on mindset. Achieve good habit forming and break bad ones!

Work:
1. Education, to attend two training courses in 2019. Fitness/nutrition relevant
2. Self belief. Have a backbone and not a wishbone⭐🌟 Take that leap!

S O U P. Made this up today!!Chana Masala soup.
saute 1 onion, few cloves of garlic, 2 tins of chick peas, I red chilli.
Add 3 tbspn of chana Masala powder and cover with veg or chicken stock.
Season.
Simmer for ten minutes ish. Blend to smooth.
Stir in a tin of chopped tomatoes and a packet of ready cooked rice with quinoa (or your rice of choice!!)
So tasty!! had mine with a bagel thin.
I use a soup maker, best thing ever! throw what you like in and 20mins later perfect soup.

L A B E L S stay one step ahead of marketing. READ your labels, please don't be taken in by branding.
Also Fuel pots are a £1 each & Asda ones 39p. Paying a shed load more for that extra 1g of protein.... just check out that fat and sugar difference too!
I know it would be better just to buy the porridge oats and make up with water but as of yet my desk comes without a built in hob & it's a bit brrrr for overnight oats 💕🤩

P I L A T E S most mornings!! For a strong core, training my core not for the 6 pack (I wish...🤗) but for that core strength that is key to lifting/strength training, functional fitness and back health.

As a rule of thumb for weight/fat loss your Macro split should be as follows
protein. 45%
Carbs. 30%

The easiest way to track your Macros is to use the app Fitness Pal 🤓.
Body doesn't recognise GOOD foods or BAD foods just Fats/Carbs/Protein. So what foods you eat to hit these goals and your calorie target is up to you! 🍇🍕🥗🍳🍪🍷🥃🥦 iifym (if it fits your macros)
