What foods should you avoid to lose fat?
Technically the answer here is no foods.
But
As you calories decrease through your diet when we set out to lose weight
There will be an element of restriction and better choice making
But this is only temporary
You will have to weigh up which foods are the best bang for your buck
Which foods are likely to give you more satisfaction
So you don’t feel super hungry
If you are coming towards the end of your cut phase
It may be worth eating more prioritising protein, whole foods and lower calorie alternatives
This way you can eat more food volume and feel less hungry
Then if you were to eat a pack of Oreo’s or Jaffa cakes which you can inhale in seconds and give you no satisfaction.
That’s not to say the above is bad.
It just won’t satisfy you as much as eating some potato with your food and lots of green leafy veg.

How crash dieting does more harm then good!
People tend to believe, the lower you drop your calories the faster and better the weight-loss progress they will experience.
While this could be true in the short term crash dieting can be quite damaging in the long term
(Physiologically, psychologically and physically).
A great number of people that take these extreme approaches to achieve weight loss as fast as possible, often regain more weight then what they started with.
Finding themselves larger and in a worse state of health.
I see this all the time, people dropping there calories to 1200 or less per day
The problem with this approach will see
❌Increased fatigue
❌ Increased eating disorder behaviours
❌ Muscle loss
❌ Risk of malnutrition
❌ likely hood of fat regain
Whilst crash dieting may seem appealing, due to the rapid weight loss effects. Diet and consistency can weaken very quickly in this unsustainable method and make it very hard for you to do this longer then a few weeks.
My recommendations
Don’t fall for these quick fixes
Don’t get so focused on losing weight as fast as possible
When this happens, the scales may show weight loss but your body composition may not of actually improved.
You may be smaller in size and less lean
If you want to lose bodyfat and keep it off for good whilst maintaining a high quality of life then you now know what not to do!
You are better creating a moderate calorie deficit and aiming to keep diet adherence and consistency high ✅

Over the 12 week cut phase we lost a total of 13.4kg

Is your progress ruined by a late afternoon/evening binge.
How many of you do the above?
You snooze your alarm in the morning a few times
You wake up late
Grab a quick slice of toast and a coffee to tick you over till lunch time
You sit at your desk with brain fog, tired and finding it hard to concentrate.
You reach to your drawer and pull out a cheeky chocolate bar to perk you up till lunch
Which actually just makes your more tired
Your work builds up on you and you skip lunch to catch up and just smash a few coffees
Someone brings in some treats from lunch so you tuck in to some of them at your desk.
Home time comes around
Your tired, hungry
You’ve got to feed the kids and get them to bed
Then finally 20:00 comes around and it’s “too late” to cook
So you order a takeaway and a few other snacks
That doesn’t satisfy you and you just keep eating.
You repeat this cycle almost daily
Then you get to the weekend so tired and stressed that you turn to wine
Before you know it months have passed and you’ve gained weight and you wonder how it happened.
What if I told you that just something simple like actually eating a filling breakfast could change your life
Quite literally!
Protein filled ✅
Nutritious ✅
More energy ✅
No more brain fog ✅
This could actually prevent you from binging at night
And sets you up for the day already with good eating habits.
Now I’m not saying, chocolate, coffee and treats are bad by any means.
In moderation they are completely fine
But as a main source of fuel for your body to survive on a daily basis
It probably isn’t the best method.

They seem to have been stuck in this yo-yo dieting frenzy
And they can’t seem to get out of it
Which I found quite upsetting to be honest.
These companies promote rapid weight loss
However
They are dangerous
They don’t take clients feelings into consideration
They want you to lose weight
Go back to eating normally again
Gain weight
Then re purchase their products again.
This isn’t sustainable by any means and it’s makes the users feel trapped and like there is no other option!
The good news is
There is another option
✅You can eat real food that you enjoy
✅You can lose weight and keep it off
✅No food is a sin
I can get you out of this trap
Educate you into eating properly
Improve your eating habits
Whilst teaching you to keep the weight off forever
