Can we protect horses from fireworks? π
Redwings are campaigning for a change in legislation to reduce the maximum legal noise level of fireworks from 120dB to 90dB. It's a simple step that would still allow celebrations, but with far less risk to animals and people.
Following the loss of three of their residents as a result of fireworks being let off nearby, Redwings continue to raise awareness of the potentially serious impact that fireworks can have on horses through their Keep Horses In Mind campaign, and offer support to other owners who face challenges when trying to keep their horses safe.
They need 100,000 signatures by March in order for the petition to be considered for parliamentary debate. Even if you've already signed it you can still help by sharing it as widely as you can! Redwings are fighting for change and how now reached over 40,000 signatures on their government petition, but they need us to keep supporting them.
