Tony is over the moon this morning! First outing for 4 new signets with mum and dad.

I try not to bring politics to my page. However, this needs to be said:

Fareham Borough Council, you are literally KILLING local businesses due to parking charges being brought into the Coastal Car Parks.
We are now having a warm day in May and this place would be heaving. But alas, only a handful of cars (one of which is mine!).

I know that this will fall on deaf ears, as us little people are insignificant. But there will be nothing left before long.

For those interested, I have just received this information about the demolition of the chimney at Fawley.

Heads up.......closures are starting today. If you are visiting your boat this weekend and use the M27 expect lengthy delays.

I wouldn’t want the fuel bill for this one!

These have appeared in the Passage Lane car park, Warsash. Anyone know what they are?
Possibly number plate recognition (chequered markings could be a give away as something to do with the Police?) Or air monitoring? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The Southampton Boat Show started yesterday. For those in the Brokerage Industry will understand this.😂😂

According to the new signage, Motorcycles are not permitted to park in the Passage Lane Car Park (which is an appalling decision), yet they have now put in marked “Motorcycles Only” bay. 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

And the ferrel kids are out clambering all over the boats...........again! 🙄

PARKING UPDATE:
Charges are now due to start on the 16/08/21 at the Passage Lane and Shore Rd car parks at Warsash.(provided the pay machines arrive by then).

I have just received this email from Fareham Borough Council. Passage Lane, Warsash is not included at the moment.

It is now no longer mandatory for face coverings to be worn whilst using the service. HOWEVER, as a courtesy to passengers, I will continue to wear one.

Workmen have started putting in the Parking Meters at the Passage Lane Carpark, Warsash.

For this years Round the Island 2021, I will be here from 9am to 7pm on Friday 2nd and the same again on Saturday 3rd July.
