Operating as usual
Tyler will be leading the learn to swim this week in my absence.
I have tested positive and will be out until November 6, so please give him your support and be patient.
With covid-19 on the increase it may be necessary to cancel some lessons in the future if the teachers have to self-isolate. I think this will be easier than trying to fit everyone in, but I will try my best. I know this may be frustrating for you but this may be the only way of keeping the learn to swim going.
Many of our teachers work in schools so the risk will be higher. I will try and give you has much notice as possible if I need to do this.
You will receive a refund if we cancel the lesson.

Good morning everyone
Here is the latest information from Regents Park school
Firstly, we hope that you and your families are all safe and well and would like to thank you for your patience and ongoing support for the school whilst we are dealing with the COVID 19 pandemic.
After the Prime Minister's announcement on Sunday 1st November and the impending further lockdown from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December, we have no alternative but to continue with the suspension of all letting until further notice.
Obviously this will be a huge disappointment to you all, however, it has been made clear by the government that education and schools are a priority and this is the best way to keep young people safe at this current time.
It is clear that things can change rapidly and as a school we will be keeping abreast of all changes to the guidance and once it is safe to do so, we will open our doors again to our hirers.
Again we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented circumstances.

Hope you are all well & staying safe.
The latest information I have received from regents Park school is that they are trying to get the children back into school first, before opening the pool again. So I think we may be looking at October time before we are able to start again.
Please note that the future of the learn to swim will change, it will not be like it was before the lockdown. Guidelines will have to be followed making things different to start with in order to cover the COVID-19 pandemic and keep everyone safe. I will update everyone nearer the time or when I receive more news.
if you have received a email from the swimming club and found the details are wrong just email Louise at [email protected] and she will change it for you.
Example wrong gender,age etc.

Just to let you know we are proposing the following message is sent out - the message is things are continuing as normal until we are told otherwise 🙂
Following advice from Swim England I am pleased to confirm that training will continue as normal.
Extract from the Swim England Website today (16.03.2020) : ‘At present the Government has not closed schools or restricted school activity and therefore we do not see any reason why clubs should not continue with their training or learn to swim programmes in their own environment within the guidelines of the facility.’
As a club we will continue to monitor the Government, Swim England and Public Health England advice and keep you informed of any changes.
Meanwhile please may I remind you that if your child or any family member develops a cough or has a temperature please do not attend the learn to swim.
