Leigh Ramblers U14 Girls Blue

A huge well done to our girls on their win yesterday in the Essex County Girls League Cup!
Our girls dominated the first half with some incredible passing and strength in their challenges. We had some great shots on target but the oppositions keeper did her job well and kept the score 0-0 going into half time.
Our girls came back after half time just as strong and our defensive line and goalkeeper kept them at bay.

Our newest addition ISSY played her first match with the team and blended in seamlessly. She ran and tackled her way through her time on the pitch and showed what an asset she is to the team.

BELLA then pulled off a beautiful left footed shot which landed in the back of the net putting Leigh Ramblers U14 Blue on the scoreboard.

The girls kept battling right to the end and held the scoreline in our favour.

A well deserved win for the girls and on to the next round.

What a match!
The girls played as a bare squad of 11 today and they did themselves so proud.
They challenged, battled and pushed their way through the 70 minutes and came away with a well deserved win to reflect all of their hard work!

All of the girls played beautifully and 'Manager's Player' could have gone to any of them but today, it went to IRIS!
She worked hard and created space. Her corners were aimed beautifully and to top it all, her final free kick of the game handed us the win!
