A place for parkour coaches to come together, share ideas, make connections, and share knowledge.

In November last year, coaches from across the UK came together at the second annual Parkour Coaching Convention at Nova City, organised by Sam Coppack.

The day was packed with discussions, workshops, practical sessions, and opportunities to share ideas about the future of coaching in our sport.

This mini documentary captures some of the people, conversations, and experiences that made the convention so valuable.

In this snippet, we talk to the brains behind the convention, Sam Coppack. He explains why creating a space like this is important for the parkour coaching community, and details everything that went on that day.

This , Parkour UK is proud to be working alongside UK Anti-Doping to help educate and support the parkour community around clean sport, athlete wellbeing, and informed decision making.

As parkour continues to grow it’s important that we continue building a culture based on fairness, respect, hard work, and long-term health for athletes and practitioners. That includes raising awareness around banned substances such as SARMs (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators).

SARMs are prohibited in sport and are often falsely marketed online as “safer alternatives” to anabolic steroids. The reality is that they are unregulated, potentially dangerous, and not approved for human consumption. Using them could seriously impact both your health and your sporting future.

A recent piece of research from UKAD, with a focus on young people, parents, and carers indicated that a third of young respondents (33%) say they have purchased SARMs at some point after seeing it advertised or promoted on social media, with a higher prevalence among males (39%) than females (29%).

In parkour, progress comes from consistency, creativity, training, recovery, and community, not by taking shortcuts. We encourage all athletes, coaches and practitioners to stay informed, ask questions, and help protect the future of clean sport.

True results are built, not bought.
