Our Community Ambassadors gave some prizes out during the British Parkour Championships at the start of the month.

Rachel Gough is our Elite Female Ambassador, and her chosen prize for the weekend was “Best Up & Comer”. This prize was for the person who missed out on the podium but threw down over the weekend.

Rachel awarded her prize to Joel Rudkin. Joel is only 16 years old, but he managed to qualify for the finals of the Style competition in the open division.

Joel worked hard throughout the weekend, not only building his own style lines, but working with others in the style category to build their own lines, bounce ideas off one another, and supporting other individuals & spectators throughout the weekend.

The prize was a pair of OLLO footwear - We want to thank OLLO for supporting the event by donating some prizes for our community awards.

Georgia is our Community Female Ambassador, and her chosen prize for the weekend was “Best Volunteer”. The idea of this prize was to celebrate those who helped us make the British Parkour Championships happen.

Georgia awarded her prize to Isaac Macintyre. Not only was Isaac an absolute monster on the DJ decks, but he also went above and beyond to make sure the Parkour UK staff, ambassadors and volunteers were all well looked after.

Isaac also helped us with the crowd control, making sure everyone was safe during the event, and made the spectators aware what has happening next in the competition. Isaac is a huge credit to the Street Monkeys organisation, and was an absolute legend throughout the whole weekend.

COACH OPPORTUNITIES

Member organisation Levels Education are looking for parkour coaches in Yorkshire (Halifax) and Dublin.

Sam Coppack is our Community Male Ambassador, and his chosen prize for the weekend was “Best Coach”. This was for the coach who supported their students & made a big difference over the weekend.

Sam awarded his prize to Chris Martin from Access Parkour. Chris was supporting one of the competitors over the weekend who wasn’t one of his usual students. Sam saw the incredible dynamic between the pair, and recognised Chris’ hard work and dedication to getting the best out of the competitor.

The prize was a pair of Ollo Parkour shoes - We want to thank OLLO for supporting the event by donating some prizes for our community awards.

All three have qualified to represent the UK at the upcoming Parkour Earth World Championships, taking place this Autumn in the Czech Republic.

From the 31st July - 2nd August we ran our FIRST British Parkour Championships at the Street Monkeys Academy in Preston.

It was an action packed three days where the BEST parkour athletes from across the UK came together to compete in the Speed, Skill, and Style competition formats. We crowned our FIRST BRITISH PARKOUR CHAMPIONS, and have built an incredible roster of individuals to join us at the Parkour Earth World Championships this Autumn.

The British Parkour Championships had been in the works for a little while, but it wouldn't have been possible without the team, the board, Street Monkeys, the volunteers, judges, videographers, photographers, and sponsors.

We want to say a huge thank you to Sean D, Sean N, and the rest of the Street Monkeys team. Their professionalism, eye for detail & experience, commitment to the event, and all of the behind the scenes work that they did has not gone unnoticed by our team, the athletes, and spectators.

We also want to thank all of our sponsors for the event.

Gymnova UK Ltd & Brick are our official equipment provider, and their kit really helped us build out the space for the event. This included an athlete warm up area, and kit that was used in the workshops we delivered to the kids (alongside our volunteer coaches from Fluidity Freerun, Free Spirit, and more!)

OLLO footwear also donated some prizes for our Ambassador Awards. These awards were given to those who didn't podium over the weekend, but instead went to individuals within the community who were the best volunteers, best up & comer, best coach, and best caddy.

Levels Education also donated a £50 gift voucher to be given to the individual who threw down the hardest in the open jam sessions.

Finally, we want to thank everyone who came to spectate & support the event over the weekend!

We couldn't be more proud of what we achieved over this weekend. We've had some brilliant feedback from the community regarding what we can do to improve the next event, and we're already looking forward to the next one!

We're unfortunately sad to share that will no longer be competing at the British Parkour Championships this weekend due to an emergency illness.

After an electrifying and impressive performance at the Grim Jam 2026 event last weekend, Tom has unfortunately had to pull out of the British Parkour Championships.

Everyone at Parkour UK, the British Parkour Championships, Street Monkeys, and our partners wish Tom the speediest of recovery, and we can't wait to see him back in action again soon.

For any of our competitors, athletes, spectators, attendees, and the parkour community in general, please prioritise your wellbeing over any event.

There are only 2 days to go until the British Parkour Championships kicks off!

Join us this Friday 31st July for an exciting onsite qualifier where some of the UK's best parkour athletes will take the course at the Street Monkeys Academy to try and qualify for the semi-final spots!

The British Parkour Championships are a pre-selection event for the upcoming Parkour Earth World Championships. Those competing this weekend will have the opportunity to represent the UK at the Parkour Earth World Champs this Autumn.

We're excited to crown the first British Parkour Champions across the Speed, Skill, and Style categories.

We have workshops for the kids, open jam sessions for those over the age of 12 years old, food & drink available on site, plus a whole lot more!
