Our workspace is still , but Cornerhouse is the new name for our building, 133a Rye Lane, and the evolution of our ground floor into a café, bar, little food hall, and event space.

Cornerhouse’s muse is the classic Lyons’ Tea Room which called our building on Rye Lane home over a century ago, and the Lyons’ Corner Houses which spun off from that. Back in the day, ‘corner houses’ were all about people – familiar places where you could gather to catch up with neighbours, share stories and meet new people, and we think that’s a lovely thing to offer back to Rye Lane today.
