Team of the week from last weekend.

Some close matches this week, unfortunately the 1st team came up just sort losing by 18 runs. The Sunday side losing by just 2 wickets with a very close finish. However the 2nd team won by an impressive 82 runs.

We go again this week with the 1st team hosting Norton in Hales in a must win match, 2nd team travel to Cheadle and the Sunday side make the short trip to Eccleshall.

🌟 Century for Harvey Sidwell! 💯🏏

Fantastic news from Church Eaton Cricket Club as 15-year-old Harvey Sidwell has scored his first senior century for the club!

Harvey's outstanding innings of 120 not out, is a testament to the hard work, dedication and talent he has shown over many years, and it's brilliant to see one of our own young players reach this fantastic milestone.

A first century is something every batsman remembers, and to achieve it at just 15 years old is a remarkable accomplishment. Harvey is a shining example of the strength and depth of our junior section and the pathway into senior cricket at Church Eaton CC.

Congratulations, Harvey – here's to many more runs, many more centuries, and a bright future in the game! 👏💙💛

After finishing as runners-up in 2025, we’ve gone one better this season and brought the trophy home! 💙💛

A huge congratulations to every player who represented the club throughout the campaign. This title is a testament to the commitment, teamwork and determination shown by the entire squad from the first ball to the last.

An outstanding team performance saw Church Eaton U15s crowned Shropshire Regional East U15 Cup Champions.

After posting an impressive 164-1, the team backed it up brilliantly in the field, restricting Wellington to 149-3 to secure a memorable 15-run victory.

A huge congratulations to every player, coach and supporter who has been part of this fantastic journey, and thank you to Wellington Cricket Club for a brilliant final played in a great spirit.

After a fantastic season, Church Eaton U15s are just one game away from lifting the trophy as they take on the mighty Wellington CC in the Shropshire Regional East U15 Cup Final.

These boys & girls have worked incredibly hard all season, played some outstanding cricket, and now have the chance to finish it in style. Every run, every wicket and every catch will count!

🏏 U15s ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL! 🏏

A fantastic performance from our Under 15s last night as they defeated Codsall by just 4 runs in a thrilling Regional East League Cup semi-final!

Church Eaton posted 138/5 from 20 overs, before holding their nerve brilliantly as Codsall finished on 134/4.

A superb team effort, plenty of determination and a brilliant result for the club. Huge congratulations to all the players and coaches — the final awaits! 💙🏆
