An excellent 3rd place finish, up against some great teams yesterday. Winning the shield final 4-0.

It was extremely tough in the heat with hardly any rest between matches due to overrunning but they all showed up and brought their energy regardless!

The comfortable win against Brereton at the end shows just how much they've improved this season.

Coaches comments: it was a hard match against a very tough team. The first 15/20 mins we were fantastic, battled hard, fought for every ball but the couple of goals before halftime knocked our confidence a bit. Second was a bit of a struggle but we never gave up💪🏼

⚽ Nicely placed goal from Lauren nestled into the corner.

🏆 POTM was Sofia. Well done to Sofia! She was excellent in goal 1st half making some fantastic saves.

Coaches comments: A bit of a slow start today against a very strong team and we found ourselves 3 goals down, we had an excellent spell to get back to 3-2 but we struggled after that. The girls as ever kept working hard to the end which we are always proud of.

⚽ Fantastic goals from both Emilia & Lauren.

🏆 Player of the match went to Violet, she battled hard in defence and made some great tackles in the first half👏🏼 Second half she stepped up for the team and went in goal. Well done Violet!

Managers comments: Yesterday's game was a tough match against strong well established opposition.

After a slow start the girls started to get more into the game and really frustrated the opposition with some good defending and battling in the midfield.

The Second half was much closer with some good goals.

🏆 Player of the match went to Aubrey because she made so many tackles and never stopped battling.
