An absolutely fantastic day yesterday, kicking off our season at Canvey Island RFC.

The u7s had their first ever game and really showed all they have learnt with their impressive runs and tagging. They are really starting to bond together as a team. We can't wait to see how they progress over the coming season.

The U8s started their season off with a dazzling show of lightning pace and great team work. Building on their season last year they are going from strength to strength and are a very exciting team to watch (sorry I don't have any photos!).

The U9s were excited to play their first game of contact rugby and put into practice everything they have learnt over the last few weeks. Some absolutely epic tackles made, crash balls and evasive running skills on display. I'm sure they will improve in confidence with every game played.

Well done to all 3 teams. An absolute credit to the club ❤️

After a long Christmas layoff there was little sign of any festive cobwebs from the Red Lads. The combinations worked very well. In attack they were excellent with strong running from all players and when support was needed they were spoilt for choice. Defence is improving week on week with the lads starting to get a grip of the complicated offside law.
An excellent day at the office. Well done U7s!

In chilly conditions our U8s put in arguably their performance of the season to date. They came up against well drilled Billericay and Romford teams and more than held their own.

Determined defence was matched with a skilful attack and great teamwork. A fantastic morning of rugby ☺️
