What a super first week of the school holidays.

HAPpy Camp - 9 riders did Bikeability Level 2
Beginner Biking - 3 courses - 13 new riders started off.....
Balance Biking - 1 course - 2 balance superstars out and about
Bikeability level 3 - 1 course - 3 riders took part
One to one lessons - 2 - both riders really improved
Led Ride - 3 riders - See the map for our route

(Note - the keen eyed amongst you might spot that we used a pedestrian only route, this was deliberate and ridden with consideration to show a proposed change in allowed use)

Next week we have:
2 spaces on Bikeability level 1 (Children must be school year 3+ in September)
2 spaces left on Balance Biking
Plenty of spaces on Beginner Biking sessions
1 available 1-2-1 session

Fun cycle activities to try this summer We’ve rounded up some of our favourite cycle activities to try this summer, plus a selection of Bikeability courses running during the school holidays.

The Hertfordshire’s Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAPpy Camps) summer activities for children and young people including in this school summer holiday are now open for booking.

The fully funded holiday activity camps provide eligible children and young people with the chance to meet friends, learn new skills and enjoy nutritious food. Places are open for children from Reception to Year 11 who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

We are taking part in the HAPpy Camps this summer - we have free funded places still available on our Bikeability courses.

Level 2 on 27/28 July and Level 3 on 17/18 August

A fantastic afternoon at Peartree park. 3 new riders, a new instructor introduced to the craziness that is a Stevenage Cycling Hub event and lots of information shared with visitors.

Enormous thanks to Sam, for truly working his socks off after I pulled a calf muscle while loading this morning. Also thanks to Andy for helping to unload.
