They have the hardest job on the whole team.

If the Team are doing well - they can feel like a million miles away down the pitch, in the meantime the goalie stands still getting cold and feeling lonely.

Likewise, the goalie is the one who feels all the pressure if a goal is conceded.

So go on show your Goalkeeper some appreciation! We love ours at Banstead Village Football Club

Remember you are never to blame, you play as a Team. If a goal is conceded that is due to the efforts of every squad member. It will never lie on the shoulders of one player - not on our Team anyway....... Love your Team, Love your Club and Love your Football

Game yesterday ended 5-2 in the end was hurricanes vs thunder/tornados, goals from Cayden-jay and an own goal,
We were unlucky with couple chances too.
they were physically bigger than us especially at the back, was tough for the smaller lads but I’ll give them their due, they really battled well with them and didn’t let them have it easy. Onto the last friendly this Sunday.
