Great game against Datchworth today in the Stevenage Mixed League. Thanks to all the new members who were available today. Thanks to Muriel, David, Stuart and Stephen P for doing the teas and helping out.

Today we held our club Memorial Day in aid of the Letchworth Garden City Hospice who cared for the wife of one of our members recently up until her passing. Great day was had by all and the weather stayed just right. Money still coming in but we raised n excess of £400 for a deserving cause.

Following our defeat to Stevenage Town Reds last week in the East Herts League this week we took revenge against Stevenage Town Blues. Very close game and great company to play against. That’s 3 wins out of 4 games now, roll on next week.

Great afternoon today away for a friendly at Hertford Bowls Club. Such an impressive green. We lost but very enjoyable day and great company. Well done Roger for organising everyone.

Following our promotion to Division 2 our first game took place last night in the East Herts League. Great win for the THS Reds at Cheshunt. Lovely people but rinks were difficult due to a lot of moss and divots
