Cole Green Way, suspect abandoned but council can’t act until it’s been there three weeks (by which time it will be ashes, like the surrounding vegetation). What to do??
Volunteer Rangers Group working for Sustrans in the East Hertfordshire region covering Hatfield, Wel
National Cycle Network routes covered:
NCN 12 Hadley Wood to Henlow
NCN 61 Hatfield to Ware
NCN 57 Welwyn Garden City to Wheathampstead
We are a team of volunteers dedicated to maintaining the NCN routes in East and North Herts. This includes ensuring signage is in good condition and correct, keeping the cycleways (on and off road) fit for use and managing the vegetation in a safe and sustainable manner.

Alban Way litter pick with Sustrans East Herts rangers and welhatcycling. 44 bags of 21st century shamefully dropped rubbish recovered. If you see anyone littering tell them we’re tough on grime but even tougher on the causes of grime. Lots of positive comments from the locals which kept us going.

Joint litter pick along the Alban Way with WelHatCycling as part of the https://twitter.com/cleanuphatfield campaign. Around 45 bags of litter and fly tipping collected in just half a mile! Ready to be picked up by the council. Thanks to everyone who helped.
