Cerberus UK Premier League Darts

Well thats it for season 1!!! what a great season its been.....lots of drama, great darts (some not so great). everyone seemed to get on really well and made some "online darts buddies". The season came to an end on Sunday at the end of season "FINALS DAY". Some absolute cracking games took place. Bill played superb and even though finishing 7th in the league he 1st took out Kieren, followed by Reece in the Semi-Final. On the other side of the draw saw the no.1 seed Mr Blythe who found himself in the final after winning his quarters and semis both 6-0. Mr Blythe took that momentum into the final, Bill missing a few crucial doubles and paid the full price. Mr Blythe 6 - 0 Billy Welch. So our 1st Cerberus champion goes to the unbeaten James Blythe, fully deserved and set the standard for Season 2 that kicks off 1st week of June....CAN ANYONE DE-THRONE THE CHAMP....TIME WILL TELL!!!!!!!

FINAL STANDINGS!!!! what a great finish to our 1st season in the League phase.... Gary beat Kieran on the final week to take his place in the knockouts.....James B gave Kieren W a lesson in scoring to keep his "0" going into the last stage!!!! lots to play for and people putting in the hours on the board to make sure their at "Peak" for the grand finale

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!! the last set of league fixtures for season 1 before we take a week off & then look to the knockout stages. Some HUGE games to be played.

Kieran Smith v Gary Smith:

WINNER TAKES ALL.........what a game to finish on in the Smith household as both know whats at stake "lose and your out, win and you've made the end of year knockouts" I'm sure we will see a big number of spectators tuning in for this 1!!!!

Reece Munford v Billy Welch:

Both players are guaranteed of their spots in the knock outs, but getting into the top 4 & earning a seeded spot will be fully on Billys mind. Reece currently sitting in 3rd and with his "leg difference" he cannot finish lower than 4th.

Alby Lingwood vs Lee Payne:

Alby has hit form at just the right time & currently sitting in 4th & playing some great darts, but Lee will be looking for his "A" game to march up the league as he currently sits in 7th but only because of "leg difference", he will have a keen eye on James & Billys matches as they all sit on 8 points.

Kieren Webb vs James Blythe:

What a way to end the league stages as "SOMEONES O HAS TO GO" both players playing some great darts recently. Kieren has had some absolute battles along the way & other than week 1 James has made light work of the League stage. Kieren will be desperate for victory & hopes to have the spectators on his side to take down "the heavy hitting, doubling for fun" James Blythe.

James Welch vs Riley Payne:

Now this I am sure on....the spectators will be heavily in Rileys corner for this 1.....urging him on for his 1st victory of the season. The "Junior" has been a credit to the league, always plays with a smile (well at times haha), taking legs off some really good players & improving throughout (well done Riley!!!!) but all that being said.....James has back2back victories & is aware of how important it is to finish as high in the table as possible, so I'm certain he will be fully focused on the job in hand & with a keen eye on other scores.

Here's how it looks going into the last week!!!! James B & Kieren keep up their 100% record, Reece gets back to winning ways to sit in 3rd. Alby moves up to 4th after 3 wins on the bounce and hitting form just at the right time! James has his 1st Back2Back victories to leapfrog Lee............ Everyone has a part to play going into the last week with top 8 moving onto the knockout stages to become the 1st winner of the "Cerberus UK Premier League Darts"

As we now head into game week 8 there seems some very tasty matches to be played with everyone needing to get in the top 8 to qualify for the knockouts........the stand out fixture must be the mid table battle between Lee P & James W.....Lee will be looking to get up into the top 4 for a seeded finish come the end of the season, but James will have his eyes on catching Lee, Billy & Reece when the last fixtures commence next week!!

HOW IT STANDS....still waiting on 1 game due to player illness but the games that were played had drama....great darts...also as ever some bad ones haha. The table is really taking shape as we move to the last 2 game weeks before the knockouts begin.....CONFIRMED Saturday 2nd May @ 1.30pm will be our Semi Finals & Final held at The Granby in Stevenage.

Fixtures taking place this week. Can Gary de-rail the Blythe train..... which Kiere(a)n will come out on top.....will Riley stop Reece's march up the table..... James will be looking for bragging rights against Alby......Lee hoping Bills lack of maths costs him :)

Here's how they look after week 5!!!! We are now tied at the top....Reece the big mover again finding himself into the top 3 for the 1st time this season....Lots to play for with 4 game weeks left to try and get into the top 8 to secure a spot in the knock-outs!!!

been a busy week for the admin, but heres how last week looked....... some great performances, specially Alby pushing Blythe as hard as he could and coming out on the losing side but not without a 50+ average!!!! Allot of big wins took place over the week so all to play for this week with players wanting to either get back to winning ways or to carry on their winning streak!!

Another cracking fixture list for this week. Could Alby dethrone Mr Blythe.... will Kieran secure back2back wins against James who will be desperate to get the win. LET THE GAMES COMMENCE!!!
