End of season award winners…..

So then, it’s been a tough season and hasn’t ended the way that we wanted it to. However, we managed to secure a third place finish in the SDSFL Division One, which is the highest laced in the clubs history, in terms of level.

Full time: Lostock Rangers 1-0 Stockport Cosmos.

Really disappointing last 3 weeks for Cosmos. 3 defeats on the bounce for the first time in a couple of years. Truth be told didn’t deserve much from game. The home teams desire to win shone through with them winning the game with the last kick of it.

Have to bounce back and put the slump behind us as we eye finishing as high up the league as we possibly can.

Cosmos exit the cup at the Quarter Final stage. Good competetive game between the sides 2nd and 3rd in SDSFL Division 1. Was a closer game than the score suggests with Mountfield finding 2 very late goals to put the game to bed.

Focus now back to league action and addressing a mini slump in results and performances.

Collective off day this morning, result has been coming in recent weeks. Lethargic and sloppy all over the park. Regroup and look towards next weeks cup quarter final.

Wasn’t pretty this morning but we got the job done. Moving onto to next week vs Stockport County Supporters.

Cosmos carried on their good league form with a comfortable win at home to Lostock. Adam Higgins helping himself to a hat trick. Louis Ridgway, Josh Elford and Jack Parr with the other goals. Closing the gap on the league leaders in the process.

A look at the table as Cosmos reach the half way point of the campaign. Still all to play for with Cosmos having to play Winston and Mountfield Rovers again. A good half season back at Division 1 level. We look to kick on and make it a memorable couple of years for the club.

Very pleasing perfomance today from the lads. Jake Foy netting a hat trick with 4 others behind him on 2. Consolidating our spot in 2nd and looking upwards.

Cosmos exit the North West cup at the first round stage. Never really got going in the game with Railways bright start being enough to secure their passage to the next round.

Another cup game next week at home against Berry St Blues to come.
