If you comment on this post, I promise a robot will not slide into your DMs three seconds later trying to sell you a PDF.
Lately, social media has started to feel less like a community and more like a robotic assembly line. We’ve all seen it: you leave an encouraging comment on someone's post, and instantly, an automated message blasts into your inbox with a sales link.
In fact, the system is so aggressive now that I have even had the automated messages appear when I did not leave a comment and mistakenly touched an ad trying to scroll past it!
Then, three days later, the "follow-up" bot arrives: "Oh my goodness, I’m just so incredibly busy and popular that I had to automate my last message, but this is really me now! Hello!"
Let’s be honest. It is not "popular", it is a pre-programmed delay trigger. Furthermore it is incredibly tiring.
Automation is a brilliant tool when it is used to make life easier, streamline booking, or help people get organised. But using it to trick people into fake conversations? That just creates digital noise.
As a yoga teacher (and virtual assistant), I value two things above all else: authentic, human-to-human connection, and systems that actually respect people's time.
My own VA page is set up to send a simple, honest auto-reply when I am away from my desk. This purpose is just to let you know I’ve received your message and will reply personally when I’m back. No tricks, no sneaky funnels, and absolutely no pre-programmed "organic" follow-ups.
If you ever want to chat about yoga, organisation, or literally anything else, you will always get a real, human response from me.
Just a real person on the other end of the screen.
Imagine that!
I am back from a truly lovely walk, and I have some exciting news to share. 🌿✨
Today I am taking you along with me as I share a quick announcement about my upcoming Corporate Yoga sessions. If your workplace needs a collective deep breath and some gentle movement, let us talk.
We will also take a moment to enjoy the peaceful views over the river, brave a little leg workout up the historic cobblestone hills, and finish back at home relaxing with my lovely cat who just woke up from a deep snooze. 🐾
If you enjoyed coming along with me today, make sure to check out my YouTube channel for gentle, accessible yoga practices you can do right from comfort of home.

As well as being a yoga teacher, I am a virtual assistant, I spend my days helping busy professionals streamline their operations and tackle complex workloads. I know how demanding the modern desk job is and exactly what sitting in a chair for eight hours does to a team’s focus, posture, and physical well-being.
I am combining my two hats and offering corporate yoga. You won’t be rolling out yoga mats in the middle of the office, nor do you need to be naturally flexible. Yoga with me is about practical, accessible, chair-based and standing movement designed specifically for desk workers to release physical tension, clear mental fatigue, and counter the daily strain of screen time.
Investing in your team’s physical health isn’t just a perk; it directly impacts focus, energy, and workplace resilience.
I am currently developing tailored sessions for local businesses. If you would like to discuss how we can bring practical wellness sessions to your workplace, please send me a direct message or email me to connect. These classes can be either in person or via Teams / Zoom.
We are having nice warm temperatues and the heat gives me energy. What about you?

Feeling low in energy? I have the perfect flow up on my channel. My YouTube link is in my bio. You can do this on the floor, your bed, or the sofa.

Happy International Yoga Day! 🧘♀️✨
When your co-teacher decides that a peaceful seated chair yoga sequence is the perfect cue to launch off the sofa... 😹🐾
Yoga is all about rolling with the unexpected, right? If your practice needs a little more stability (and a lot fewer flying cats), come join me for the full session! She is a scene stealer and that’s fine by me.
Head over to the link in my bio to watch the full-length video and let’s practice together! ✨
