It was great to see Steph Binks at our Presentation Evening on Saturday.
Steph recently joined the Rockets and became our 500th registered player this season.
It’s amazing to look back and see how far the club has come in such a short space of time.
Welcome to the Rockets , Steph. ❤️🤍

🔴⚪️ Plenty happening at Grosvenor today.
The pitch has now been scarified, the drainage runs have been marked out, and another important step has been taken in bringing the surface back to where it needs to be.
We’re making real progress.
Slowly getting there. ❤️🤍

Our Rockets were presented with their league winners’ plaque at their Presentation Evening last night.
An incredible achievement for a special group of players:
🏆 2 unbeaten league titles in 3 years.
The future of women’s rugby at Stockton RFC has never looked brighter.
Congratulations to all of our players, coaches and volunteers. ❤️🤍

And so it begins…
The next stage of development at Grosvenor Road is underway following the award of £124,000 from the Football Foundation to support extensive pitch drainage, levelling and surface improvements
Turfcare Specialists Limited commenced the scarification programme today, as work begins to transform the playing surface
The scale of the project is significant and will include:
• Extensive drainage improvements
• Pitch levelling works
• 400 tonnes of sand and root zone
• 800kg of grass seed
Over the coming weeks the surface will look worse before it looks better, but this is all part of the process of creating a stronger, better-draining and higher-quality playing surface for players of all ages.
A huge thank you to the Football Foundation for their support and to Turfcare for helping deliver this exciting phase of the project.
The future continues to take shape at Grosvenor Road.

When your kids ask who the real legends of rugby are, point them towards the referee.
The men and women who turn up every weekend, in all weathers, whistle in hand, so everyone else can play.
Every match, every tackle, every try only happens because someone is willing to step into the middle and make the game possible.
They take the pressure, make the difficult calls, calm the chaos and uphold the values of our sport.
They don’t play for trophies, applause or recognition. They do it because they love rugby.
To all our referees – thank you.
You are the heartbeat of the community game.

🏉 A year ago, Xander was named our Under 16s Player of the Year.
This year, he was selected to represent Durham County U17s
On Saturday, he spent the entire day volunteering on the BBQ, helping keep things running behind the scenes.
Clubs don’t thrive because of facilities or results alone. They thrive because of young people like Xander — committed, hardworking, and always willing to give something back.
A fantastic role model for the next generation of Stockton RFC players. ❤️🤍
Clubs aren’t just buildings – they’re people. They’re the communities we live in, the friendships we build, and the town we all share a passion for.
Yesterday, Xander was named our U16s Player of the Year – and rightly so. But his impact goes far beyond the pitch.
He was also our DJ, gatekeeper, event organiser, and all-round helper on a day that saw nearly 400 people come through the gates. His commitment to the club off the field is every bit as impressive as his talent on it.
Because clubs are built on the people who love them – and Xander is one of those people 🔴⚪️
