Not to be today as we were convincingly beaten by title-chasing Abbey Hulton United ⚽️👏

The scoreline probably flattered them a little, with their keeper pulling off some unbelievable saves all game 🧤🔥 It could and should have been a lot tighter.

We go again next week against Cheadle 💪

It hasn’t been the season we hoped for, but we dust ourselves down one more time before going again next year ❤️🖤

🏅 Manager’s Player of the Match: Ash
🏅 Parents’ Joint Players of the Match: Ash & Ethan 👏👏

💙⚽ Goodbye Riley – you’ll be truly missed! ⚽💙

After 5 incredible years with FC Hanley, Riley has decided to move on. From U7s all the way through to U12s, his commitment, passion, and loyalty to one club has been nothing short of amazing 🙌

With numerous Player of the Season awards 🏆 and leading the team as captain, Riley has been an inspiration to his teammates both on and off the pitch. His dedication at such a young age feels like a lifetime of memories for everyone involved ❤️

Thank you for everything, skipper. Once blue, always blue 💙

Good luck on your next journey – we’re all behind you! 👏⚽

Not our best tournament today, but proud of the effort. We went out on penalties to the eventual winners, so credit where it’s due—well done to Cheadle Blue on your win.

Time for us to regroup, learn from it, and come back stronger. 👊
