FULL TIME | Audley Sundays 1-0 Coach & Horses FC

A narrow 1-0 defeat in our first pre-season friendly, but plenty of positives to take from the game.

There wasn’t much between the two sides, and we gave a really good account of ourselves throughout. We saw a lot of the ball, created some good passages of play, and it was great to get a look at some of the new faces at the club.

Most importantly, it was brilliant to see the lads starting to gel together. The foundations are being built, and things are definitely starting to come together here at Coach & Horses. 💪🏻

On to next week as we travel to Holditch Miners for another tough test. Another opportunity to keep building, improving, and growing stronger as a team.

Unfortunately, nobody realised he was busy sunbathing and had to be woken up while the opposition casually walked the ball into the net. 😂

To top it off, he’s blaming the captain for missing the only header of the game.😂

❤️ A Final Farewell to Kenny John ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the details of Kenny’s funeral.

Kenny’s funeral will take place on Friday 17th July at 11:00am at Christ Church.

Kenny will leave from his home, The White Hart at 10:30am, where family, friends and all those whose lives he touched are welcome to join us in walking behind his car as we accompany him on his final journey.

The White Hart will be opening at 10:00am for anyone wishing to gather before we set off.

Kenny was one of our own, and we know how much he meant to so many people. We would love to see everyone come together to give him the send-off he truly deserves. ❤️

RIP Kenny John 💔

Your presence on and off the pitch meant so much to all of us. The memories, laughter, dedication, and friendship you gave will never be forgotten.
