A fantastic evening at Clayton Wood as the boys were invited to play Stoke City Academy in a well-organised carousel of games ⚽️👏

The standard of football on show was excellent, with both teams producing some real quality throughout. On a hot evening, the boys showed tremendous effort, energy, and determination, alongside some outstanding football 💪🔥

They scored some brilliant team goals and managed to win both matches in style, showcasing great confidence, ability, and teamwork ⚽️

What an incredible season these boys have had 👏💙🩵 Finishing the season by winning the Area Cup was the perfect way to end what has been a fantastic year for this team. Every single player should be proud of what they’ve achieved together. Their attitude, effort, teamwork, and development all season have been absolutely first class 👏🏆

Today we came up against a very competitive side, but with the bare 5 players available, the boys once again showed unbelievable character, energy, and determination. Since Christmas, this team has been on an amazing run of form, playing with real flair, confidence, and quality every single week ⚽️🔥

The football played today was outstanding from start to finish. The boys moved the ball brilliantly, worked hard for each other, and scored fantastic goals that really showed the confidence flowing through the team right now 💪⚽️

🔥 MMOTM – Joshua
A superbly solid performance at the back, defending strongly throughout and leading by example. What made his performance even better was his drive going forward, beating players with confidence and topping it off with a brilliantly well-taken goal 👏🔥

🔥 PMOTM – Noah
Never stopped battling from the first whistle to the last. Worked tirelessly for the team and scored a fantastic opener that was taken brilliantly. His effort, determination, and quality in front of goal were outstanding 👏⚽️

Couldn’t be prouder of this team and everything they’ve achieved this season. They’ve been first class from start to finish and fully deserve all the success they’ve earned 👏🙌👏

A massive thank you to Abbey Hulton Utd U8’s Orange for giving our boys a really competitive match this morning 👏👏👏

With injuries leaving us with the bare 5 and no subs, the effort from the lads was absolutely unbelievable 💪🔥

What a game it was! Both teams were brilliant from start to finish, full of effort, quality, and determination 🙌⚽️

The lads battled hard and came away with the win after a top team performance 💙🩵

Honestly don’t think we’ve ever seen the woodwork rattled so many times in one match 😅 Crossbars and posts were taking an absolute battering all morning!

The game had everything… quality football, crunching tackles, big saves, end to end action, and two teams giving absolutely everything 🔥👏

To finish things off, both teams had a penalty shootout at the end for a bit of fun and what a way to end a brilliant morning of football ⚽️🏆

Man of the Match goes to the whole team 👏 Every single player put in a top individual performance and worked their socks off for each other 🩵💙

What a day. What a team. WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 🙌

The boys were simply unbelievable from start to finish in the Final. From the first whistle, they played with confidence, energy, and determination, showing exactly why they deserve to be called CHAMPIONS 💙🩵

Every single player stepped up on the big stage and delivered. The football on display was outstanding — sharp passing, intelligent movement, strong defending, and clinical finishing. And the goals… WOW. Some of the strikes today were absolutely outrageous 🚀⚽️ — the kind of goals you don’t forget anytime soon!

What makes this victory even more special is the adversity the boys faced. With injuries affecting the squad, they showed incredible resilience, character, and togetherness. Players took on different roles, worked even harder for each other, and never let the challenges hold them back. That spirit is what champions are made of 💪🔥

The attitude from every player was first class. They battled, they supported one another, and they gave everything for the badge right until the final whistle. A true team performance in every sense of the word 👏

A massive THANK YOU as well to all our parents and families. Your energy, encouragement, and constant backing throughout the match made a huge difference. The boys heard you, felt it, and it drove them on every step of the way 🙌💙
