On a cold and windy day, the team showed fantastic determination and spirit in their U7 match. Despite the tough conditions, every player battled hard from start to finish, never giving up and continuing to support one another throughout the game.

The cold made things challenging, but the team adapted well, putting in strong tackles, making great runs, and showing plenty of effort both in attack and defence. Most importantly, their teamwork and positive attitude stood out, with lots of encouragement and smiles even when things got difficult.

It was a brilliant display of resilience and enthusiasm—exactly what youth football is all about.

A fantastic game for the U7s yesterday, with great energy, teamwork, and effort shown by everyone. The team worked really well together, supporting each other all over the pitch and playing with plenty of enthusiasm from start to finish. Most importantly, there were lots of smiles and great football on display.

Manager’s Player: George – for his excellent effort, teamwork, and smart play throughout the match.

Parent’s Player: Derrick – for his hard work, positive attitude, and scoring a great goal.

On a cold morning, the team showed great effort and teamwork in today’s game from start to finish. There was strong defending, some great saves in goal, and good passing going forward to create chances, including three great goals.

Most importantly, the players worked hard, encouraged each other, and showed a great attitude throughout. Well done everyone!

Knightly put in a great defensive performance, making some excellent tackles and working hard to stop the opposition. He listened well and showed great focus throughout the game. Well deserved 👏

Manager’s Player: Oliver 🏆

Oliver had an amazing game, making some brilliant saves and encouraging his teammates throughout. He even scored a great goal to top off a fantastic performance. Well done! ⚽️

The lads worked really hard throughout the game, never gave up, and did really well to get back in the game. There were some fantastic moments including some amazing saves! Everyone played their part and gave 100% for the team.

What a great game to kick the sunny morning off today. The boys battled hard and were strong throughout the game.

MMOTM went to Oliver 🏆 who had a fantastic game today, showing off some brilliant footwork and hitting the back of the net within the first 5 minutes. This lad has shown some great development since the start of the season, really reading the game and anticipating his next move. Well done 👏

PMOTM went to Tobias, aka Messi 🏆 who had a full 40 minutes on the pitch, with the first two quarters in goal. He made some incredible saves and threw himself into the game as always outfield! His dribbling is second to none and his game play was fantastic. Well done 👏

Great game FC Hanley, you should all be very proud of yourselves.

Tough game today, however, the boys battled through. Showing real determination and encouraging one another on the pitch.

Knightly gave it his all today, playing 20 minutes in goal and 20 on the pitch. He truly ran his socks off and put in some brilliant tackles, giving 100% until the final whistle! Not forgetting an unbelievable save. Well done mate, very well deserved!

George puts 110% effort into every single game, he worked hard until the very end and picked out some brilliant passes. He ran up and down that pitch showing his passion to protect our goal! A fantastic performance and a great attitude! Well done mate!

First game of the new year for the boys!

After 5 game less weeks, the boys came back full of enthusiasm and keen to show everyone what they’re made of. A fantastic game and it was great to see the boys back at it.

Our MMOTM went to the amazing Asher 🏆. This lad consistently works his socks off week in week out. His ability to read the game with such understanding is phenomenal. He’s an absolute rock! Playing both in goal and outfield, he made some incredible saves and just powered thought the entire game defending the goal and pushing the ball up! He also managed to bag himself a brilliant goal. Well done mate ❤️

Our PMOTM went to the fabulous Tobias aka Messi 🏆. His dribbling and tackling was second to none! Not only is this boy fast, he is fearless. Letting nothing stop him, his determination to get the ball into that goal is fantastic to watch! He’s also bagged himself an outstanding goal! Well done Tobias ❤️

What a great game we had today. Extremely tough however, our boys battled through and gave it their all.

PMOTM today went to Tobias aka messi 🏆. This lad causes havoc on the pitch. His footwork is unbelievable and not only did he make some incredible saves in goal, he really made a difference to the game while playing outfield. Well done buddy 👍

Another incredibly competitive game today. Our lads battled through showing their strength and individual skill.

Today’s MMOTM went to Oliver 🏆 his attitude during today’s game was fantastic, making incredible saves in goal for the first half and really challenging the opposition with his attacking and relentless effort whilst playing outfield. A huge well done 👍

Today’s PMOTM went to Knightly 🏆 this lad was fearless today, really pushing the opponents back with incredible determination in defence. He adapted to each situation and powered through. A big well done 👍

Some great football has been played over the past couple of weeks. Our boys are striving and thriving at the moment. Each week they show unbelievable strength, courage and resilience.

Our lads battled through a very competitive game against a strong team this morning. They persevered and kept on going, making some fantastic plays. The lads were incredibly strong in defence and made it extremely difficult to get past.

Managers MOTM went to Asher 🏆who’s turning into a real rock! He shows true grit and courage, fantastic defending and pushes up the pitch brilliantly. Well done Asher, keep on shining!

Parents MOTM went to George 🏆 playing two quarters in goal and two out. He was outstanding in goal, making some incredible saves. Whilst playing out, he remained strong and took on some brilliant tackles defending the goal! Incredible job, well done George!
