🚨 Transfer Watch: 3 Names Stoke Are Circling… 🔴⚪
Potters, what do we make of these three strongly linked targets? 👀 Let’s break it down 👇
🧤 Josh Griffiths (GK, 24)
• 26 appearances last season
• 6 clean sheets in the Championship
• 60% save rate & 51 saves across the campaign
A solid, no-nonsense shot-stopper – still young but already racking up senior games.
🏃♂️ Dennis Cirkin (LB, 24)
• 39 games, 3 goals & 2 assists (2024/25)
• Key part of Sunderland’s promotion push
• Proven attacking threat from full-back
Modern, attacking left-back who loves to get forward – exactly the profile we’ve been crying out for?
💪 Djibril Soumaré (CDM, 23)
• 25 Championship appearances last season
• 70+ tackles & strong duel success rate (~52%)
• Physical, ball-winning midfield presence
An energetic destroyer in the middle – could be the bite and protection our midfield has lacked.
🔥 Three different profiles…
🧱 A keeper, a full-back, and a midfield enforcer
⚙️ All addressing key areas in the squad

We're all waiting Stoke City Football Club 💀
Who's going to be our first signing of the summer? Let me know your thoughts in the comments 👇
Rumours of Josh Griffiths from west brom (GK)
Svante Ingelsson (CDM from Sheffield Wed)
Lorent Tolaj (Striker Plymouth)
I personally see us snapping up Jamie Allen (CDM) on a free, he's worked with Robbins for years and I'm sure he will want him as part of the squad for a rebuild.

Name your all time stoke 5 aside team 🔴⚪🔴⚪
A bit of fun while the sun is out and the season is over. Here's my 5 aside team.
Banks
Shawcross (Denis) Smith
Matthews
Fuller
Banks is one if not the best goalkeeper to have ever graced us on our hallowed turf. The penalty save to deny Sir Geoff Hurst in the League cup semi final was a superb stop and one of the most key in our history.
Shawcross 'Mr Stoke City' the guy just oozed red and white through and through. Strong in the tackle, great at reading the game and chipped in with some great goals from set pieces. Arguably could have played at the highest level if he left us in his prime.
Denis Smith another just like Shawcross. Strong in heart, strong in the tackle, a great technical ability. My father would always tell me stories about Den and how modern footballers should take a leaf out of his book.
Stanley Mathews, arguably the most famous and best wide player in our history. The man was a pure magician with his feet. I wish I was old enough to have watched him with his silky dribbling skills, definitely the best of his era.
Fuller, my favourite player. Ricardo had the ability to grab the ball on the wing and as soon as he touched it you could hear the seats of the Britannia Stadium clunk down in anticipation. He was the ultimate seat dropper. The goal against Aston Villa in our first home game of our premier League campaign was absolutely superb, he left the defender treading in treacle after kippering him with a sublime turn and then smashed the ball past the keeper to send the stokies into delirium.

Welcome to Stoke Duck 🦆
Stuart Harvey has just been appointed as the new Technical Director for Stoke City to work alongside Sporting Director Jon Walters.
Here's a snippet of his career so far:
Major Success at Sunderland AFC: He spent over four years (April 2021 to October 2025) as Head of Player Recruitment. He was widely credited as a key architect in rebuilding their recruitment operations, playing an integral role as the club achieved consecutive promotions from League One all the way back to the Premier League.
At Sunderland, he successfully developed and implemented an innovative player trading model that focused on long-term sustainability, data-informed scouting, and value creation.
Six-Year Tenure at Blackburn Rovers: He served in multiple pivotal roles from 2015 to 2021, starting in Academy recruitment before being promoted to Head of Club Talent Identification and Player Analysis, where he restructured and led the club's entire transfer and recruitment infrastructure.
Before his senior recruitment roles, he established a strong reputation in youth development and talent identification, serving as the Head of Youth Scouting for Burnley FC and working as an Academy Manager earlier in his career.

🔴 What’s next for Stoke's young striking talent? 🔴
With the season wrapped up, one of the biggest talking points for the summer is going to be what we do with Nathan Lowe and Emre Tezgel. Both are 20 now, both have just had proper development years out on loan, and both are going to be knocking on the door at Clayton Wood come July.
Here is where things stand for our two homegrown number 9s:
🏹 Nathan Lowe (20)
It's been a bit of a whirlwind 2025/26 campaign for Lowe. He hit the ground running on loan at Stockport with 7 goals, but then had a leg injury in December which unfortunately brought him back to Stoke for rehab.
To his credit, he showed serious resilience, worked his way back, and secured a move to Wycombe in January. He chipped in with some massive goals there including a brace against Huddersfield in April. He’s more than proven he’s got the physical profile and the clinical edge to score at a senior level.
⚡ Emre Tezgel (20)
Tezgel has taken a massive leap forward this year during his season-long spell with Crewe. He’s been a consistent focal point for them, hitting double digits by netting 10 goals and chipping in with a couple of assists in League Two.
Getting over 1,800 minutes of first-team football under his belt is exactly what he needed to develop the sharpness and maturity to cope with proper senior center-backs.
The Big Summer Dilemma 🤔
Both lads are back at the club this summer. The question is: what is the best move for pre-season?
Do we keep them both in the first-team squad to compete for a place in the starting lineup?
Or do we integrate one into the Championship matchday squad and send the other out on a high-level League One loan for guaranteed weekly minutes?
Or even more radical, do we cash in on both? I would certainly want to see one given the chance in and around the first team.

Is Mark Robins about to be sacked? ❌
We don't think so.. ! There is still credit in the bank for me.
There have been rumours of Robins being given his marching orders, personally I think this is paper talk from the poor run that we've had since November.
One thing's for certain, injuries have played a major role in the downfall of us last season. At one point we had no fit strikers, no right back, no left back and a youth goalkeeper between the sticks.
Let's get behind Robins and the hopefully new refreshed lineup for this season coming.
