Potters Bulldog 3–2 Pool Dole
A frustrating one today lads
There’s so many positives to take despite a 3–2 defeat to Potters Bulldog, with a few f**k me moments thrown in to take from the game.
First half we played some good stuff but only in spells and we need to make sure we continue
Some lovely play and a great shout to leave the ball and Clarkey slotted one just inside the post to make it 1-1 great finish
The first ended with us going into the break 3–1 down, with two free kicks given away on the edge of the box proving costly.
Just from daft mistakes which we need to stop and why we can’t start a game in the first half baffles me.
The second half was a brilliant response. We came out with real energy, pushed Potters Bulldog back and started creating plenty of chances.
Our pressure paid off when we won a penalty and calmly converted to make it 3–2.
Ollie Teague
From there, we kept pushing and created a number of good opportunities. We had chances to equalise and potentially go on to win the game, and on another day the result could easily have gone our way.
There were also some excellent performances from our new players, who stepped into the team and showed plenty of confidence, effort .
Overall, there’s a lot to be positive about. The character shown in the second half, the pressure we created and the way the new players fitted into the squad all give us plenty to build on.We face an almogjy battle on Sunday against the Bird in Hand in the cup at Fenton park Also CJ back to it today was immense and never and always looked comfortable PDFC CAPTAIN performance
Brandon’s return much anticipated and a great performance led well communication was on point Oliver ,Louis, Tyler who gave everything and a good performance overall from the new lads Kieron’s Debut wasn’t the best put on the 67 shirt and lasted a good 90 seconds.Wore gloves so Kieron takes DOTD
Other than that we go again Dole heads up work hard and let’s start finding some results
