Another morning of brilliant football from the lads today.

They started off abit sluggish and lacked their normal intensity and communication but soon found their feet and started playing some good football. Great work rate off the ball and some nice passing moving up the pitch.

Half time we spoke about what was working and what wasn't. They all agreed their communication was off, so we encourage them to talk more and take charge of a situation and not leaving it to chance.

Second half they came out flying and dominated majority of it, some great passing moves, tough but fair tackling and plenty of energy 💪🏻⚽️

They got what they wanted and deserved in the end, goals from different positions again 👏🏻👏🏻

Fantastic performance from the lads today 👏🏻👏🏻

Before kick off we spoke about finishing off our chances and seeing the game out to put right last weeks shared scoreline, and boy did they do that 💪🏻⚽️

From the first whistle to the last, they played football the right way, worked extremely hard all over the pitch and backed each other up, real team performance.

I was really pleased with their attitude to the game and opposition, tackling hard but fair and also putting bodies on the line when needed 👏🏻👏🏻

Goals from all over the pitch today 👌🏻⚽️

Plenty of positives from today's performance, let's take the attitude from today into training and the next game lads.

Afternoon All,

Today has marked the start of the season for us, and what a game it was. A bit of a bitter sweet one, but nevertheless the lads enjoyed it and didnt let their heads drop at all.

The lads dominated large parts of the game, moving the ball around well and created majority of the chances during the game.

They should all be proud of how hard they all worked on and off the ball. Was great to see.

Remember lads, when we create that many chances, we need to kill the game off earlier.

Keep working hard, listening and enjoying it boys. Great start to the season 👏🏻 ⚽️👏🏻⚽️

Another pre-season friendly this morning vs a well organised Avery side.

From start to finish our lads were fantastic, plenty of communication with each other, great passing and moving and a killer instinct in front of goal.

Some great distribution of the ball from all over the pitch today, was great to see.

We went into half time 2-2, second half they stepped it up another gear or 2, great work rate and team spirit 👏🏻👏🏻 finished the game winning 8-3. Well done lads !!!

Extremely proud of these boys and their commitment to each other and the team. Keep smiling and enjoying it lads, its what it's all about 💙⚽️💙

Evening all,

🚨🚨Some fantastic news for the team🚨🚨

We have secured 2 sponsors for the upcoming season. Which is going to help out the lads massively.

First up..... The Gurkha Bar and Grill Stourbridge. They serve up some fantastic and delicious Indian & Nepalese cuisine. Check them out, great vibe inside and plenty of screens to watch all sporting events. Thank you ever so much 🙌🏻👌🏻🙌🏻

Secondly, we have CMS Home Improvements. A local and family run business that takes pride in their work. Check their page out and see the array of quality improvements they have done. No job is too big or small for these guys, would definitely recommend 👌🏻🙌🏻👌🏻

Its fantastic that local businesses are helping out local teams, the lads are buzzing and cant wait to be wearing your logos on their kits. Massive appreciation to both, thank you ever so much

This morning the boys played their 2nd pre season friendly, and what a performance from them all.

Considering we had 1 sub and played on a 9 a side pitch, the lads worked extremely hard, linking up together well and busting a gut to get back and help defend, a great game to watch.

Hats off to them all, plenty of communication and passing the ball around well to each other. They kept it simple which in turn made it easier for them to find those pockets of space to then build the attacks from. 👏🏻⚽️👏🏻⚽️👏🏻

Trophy League game no.4 this morning.

We paused and held a minutes silence for a great man, a local football legend...Bob Hickman. You will be sorely missed, our deepest thoughts are with your loved ones through this tough time.

Today we hosted Forrest Falcons South in a competitive game for both sides. Our lads started the game unlike themselves, a bit sluggish and not playing as they normally do. I'd put that down to pre games nerves as a win will secure them the trophy league title as winners. We went into half time 2-1 down.

Again, this bunch of lads has so much resilience, never say die attitude. 2nd half was a complete different story, dominated majority of the 2nd half. Played some fantastic stuff, worked so hard as a team, moving forward and back together. Was great to see.

They finished the game winning 4-2. An awesome comeback 👏🏻👏🏻 well done boys, be super proud of yourselves, me, Josh and all the parents are 💙

With the win today, means the lads have won their respective trophy league, a fantastic achievement, after only being all together since August last year. The bond they all have with each other is unreal. Plenty of memories made and plenty more to come in the future.

Well done lads, hold your heads high and chests out. You deserve all the credit you get. The smiles on your faces at the end is an image ill cherish forever. 👏🏻⚽️👏🏻⚽️👏🏻⚽️

One last game left next week, let's keep the momentum and try to go unbeaten, your all more than capable of doing so 💪🏻

Today marked Trophy League game no.3 and the lads didnt disappoint what so ever.

From the first whistle the boys battled hard and showed how well they play as a team.

They created a handful of chances which the opposition goalkeeper was equal too. On the other end, they had a few half chances which our goalkeeper was more than equal to. After some neat play by the lads they found themselves going ahead into half time.

2nd half the lads played really well, worked hard for each other, plenty of communication and a desire to defend as much as attack. We were very unlucky to concede an own goal but the lads battled super hard and got the all important winner. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Another win boys, be super proud of what your achieving this season. Especially since being together fully since August. Its phenomenal. Well done lads 💙⚽️💙⚽️

Trophy League game no. 2 got underway this morning. What a fantastic team performance the boys have put in today, they had to dig deep at times and boy, they definitely rolled up their socks and took the game by the scruff of the neck.

We started bright, good passing and movement, showing great desire and willingness which helped us find the lead early on. The boys then took the foot off the gas and relaxed a little too much which as we know in football isnt going to help, this found them 3-1 down after 15 mins or so.

What happened next is nothing short of pure brilliance, no heads dropping just a fantastic desire to step it up a couple of gears 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We went in at half time 3-3. Great comeback before half time.

2nd half the boys again stepped up another gear, controlled majority of the second half, great passing plays, hard work and some brilliant finishing. Absolutely fantastic attitude today boys, it's never over till its over, well done and be so proud of yourselves⚽️⚽️⚽️

Fantastic commitment and drive to help each other out. Exactly what a team should do.
