Our Over 50s will take part in their first-ever overseas tournament this October — another exciting milestone for Stratford Town Walking Football Club.

With 13 teams taking part, it promises to be a fantastic event, offering plenty of competitive football as well as a brilliant opportunity for players to socialise, make new friendships and enjoy the experience together.

We can’t wait to represent Stratford Town FC overseas and create some more great memories along the way.

This Sunday, our Over 50s create another piece of Stratford Town Walking Football Club history as they play their first-ever Worcestershire Walking Football League fixture.

And what better way to begin than against our friends from Evesham Utd Walking Robins.

It’s a moment we’ve been building towards for a long time, and one for every player involved to enjoy and be proud of.

Represent the Stratford Town FC badge with pride, play the game in the right spirit and, most importantly, enjoy the occasion.

STRATFORD TOWN 2–1 Birmingham Blues (Over 60s)

A real battle for the full 60 minutes against an excellent BWFC Blues side from the Birmingham Premier League.

Goals from Duncan Morris and Roland Borriello proved decisive as Stratford produced a disciplined and determined performance to secure a deserved 2–1 victory.

Both sides contributed to a very competitive game, with Dave Platts making some important saves when called upon.

Another valuable test for the squad and plenty of positives to take forward as we continue preparing for the season ahead.

🟠🔵⚽️ A valuable afternoon of preparation at Inkberrow FC.

Stratford Town and Cadbury Athletic Walking Football Club played out an enjoyable and educational friendly at Inkberrow FC this afternoon as both clubs continue their preparations for the new league season.

The game was expertly officiated by Worcestershire Walking Football League Head Referee Sue Holland and was arranged to give the two new league sides valuable experience ahead of competitive football beginning in just two weeks.

Stratford ran out 3–0 winners, with Ade Parsons completing an impressive hat-trick. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

More importantly, both teams embraced exactly what the afternoon was designed for — learning, preparation and playing the game in the right spirit.

A big thank you to Cadbury Athletic, Sue Holland and everyone involved. We wish both clubs an exciting season ahead! 👏
