Our Masters take on Back to Basics: Backstroke Dive.
How hard can it be to kick the ball?! 😅

HEAD. HANDS. HIPS. HEELS.

Same fundamentals, same progression, whatever your age. Bring the four together, launch from the wall and try to make contact with the ball using both feet.

A few hits. Plenty of near misses. And quite a lot of fun getting there. 😂
Back to Basics. Whatever your age.

🏊 BLUEFINS TOP ATHLETE GOLD HAT 🥇💙💛

Following Saturday's Arena League, our coaches have selected two swimmers to receive the Bluefins 💛Top Athlete Gold Hat💙

👏 Ava W - Ava stepped up to race the opening 200 IM outside her usual age group, smashed her PB and finished 3rd. She followed that with 2nd place in the 100 Free.

No fuss, she just got stuck in and got the job done!

👏 Oli H - A busy Arena League programme for Oli, with big PBs in both the 100 Backstroke and 100 Breaststroke, alongside a strong contribution to the boys' relay team.

Both swimmers have made an excellent start to the new training season, showing consistent commitment, high attendance and a great approach to their sessions. Oli's attendance has been particularly impressive, approaching 100%.

The Gold Hat isn't awarded for fast times or medals alone. It recognises the swimmers who consistently prepare well, listen, apply feedback and take responsibility for their development.

Ava and Oli have demonstrated those qualities in training, with Saturday's racing showing the results of that commitment.

Well done both, thoroughly deserved! 💙
