🏁 Race Report – NKC Round 1, Dunkeswell

A last-minute entry into Round 1 of the NKC Championship at Dunkeswell proved to be a positive and encouraging start to Jayden’s senior campaign.

Despite limited preparation, Jayden showed strong pace from the outset, consistently running at the front during practice sessions and quickly adapting to the circuit.

Qualifying proved to be challenging, with an unlucky run leaving Jayden further down the order than his pace deserved. This meant he had work to do across the heats, where he made solid progress through the field, steadily moving forward with confident and controlled drives.

By the pre-final, Jayden had worked his way up to 5th place, demonstrating strong racecraft and front-running pace.

The final brought mixed conditions, with rain beginning just before the start. A hectic scramble on the grid saw teams rushing to switch to wet tyres before the deadline, adding further pressure heading into the race.

A difficult start saw Jayden drop back to 16th place, but he responded with an impressive recovery drive. Showing strong pace in the wet conditions, he fought his way back through the field to finish 10th, matching the pace of the front runners.

Overall, it was a weekend that showed strong potential. With a cleaner qualifying session, a top-five result would have been well within reach.

Last weekend was Round 1 of The Kart Championship at Warden Law 🏁

Good pace throughout the weekend and feeling strong in the kart, but unfortunately a mechanical DNF in the super heat put us on the back foot for the final due to a faulty fuel pump.

Frustrating, but these things are part of racing. Plenty of positives to take and a lot to build on as next time we head to Warden Law next month will be for the British Karting Championship 🇬🇧 .

We’re very proud to share that Jayden has been invited to join the Arden Academy for 2026.

Following an exclusive simulator assessment at Arden Motorsport HQ, Jayden impressed the engineers with his performance and consistency, earning him a place on the team’s driver development programme.

Over the coming months Jayden will be working closely with Arden’s engineers through their simulator programme to continue developing his skills with the aim of progressing to testing a GB4 car later this year.

This is a really exciting step forward in Jayden’s motorsport journey and an important step towards single-seater racing.

🔵🔴⚪️ Warden Law Spring Cup ⚪️🔴🔵

Positive weekend at Warden Law for the Spring Cup with Coles Racing

Strong progression across the weekend in only Jayden's second outing in the Senior class. Pace improved session by session and we were moving in the right direction throughout.

Unfortunately an electrical issue in the Final caused the engine to cut over the kerbs, which compromised the result. Frustrating way to end it, but that's racing.

Plenty of positives to take and valuable learning as we head towards Round 1 of the British Kart Championship.

🔵🔴⚪️ Senior Rotax Debut ⚪️🔴🔵

A big step this weekend for Jayden at Kimbolton, making his first ever outing in Senior Rotax - and straight into a race weekend with no prior senior testing.

With a strong grid full of experienced drivers including several British Championship competitors using the meeting as a warm-up, the focus was firmly on learning and adapting.

Jayden showed great pace from the off, ending P4 overall in official timed practice, just a few tenths from the very front. Heat 1 Jayden started 17th on mixed grids and made his way through the pack to finish 6th.
Across the heats and final he raced consistently, handled the step up brilliantly, and brought the kart home P7 in the Final, finishing 6th overall on the day.

It was a really encouraging debut was immediate senior-level pace. Plenty learned, plenty to work on — but a very positive start to his Senior Rotax journey.
