Silksworth Park FC

Completely different game from last week.

Very back and forth game.

Stephen Saville came off injured after 10 minutes and we had to move Joe Hajsadr in defence for the rest of the game
Kev Achufusi came close with a great strike that hit the bar
Del Palmer tried from outside the box and forced an amazing save from their keeper.

Half time ended 0 - 0

Karl Gray finally broke the deadlock 5 minutes into the second half after a freekick from the side of the box was crossed in by Tom Lowis and headed back by captain Ryan Willis into the path of Karl who put it into the net.

New Derby was awarded a penalty just as the 90th minute approached... Joel Dowd saves!

Game over? No, the referee adds 8 minutes of stoppage time.

However we manage to counter attack with Del on the wing and instead of taking it to the corner to run the clock he makes a pass to Myles Mordey. Myles somehow manages to squeeze the ball in the goal with his back turned away from goal. (The ball took a decade to cross the line). 2 - 0 and surley all 3 points.

Massive improvement for the lads today, battled for everything and much better workrate.

Marksmen Vs Silksworth Park

Match awarded to AWAY TEAM.

After a poor run of form we wanted to use todays game as a potential bounce back, unfortunatly that did not happen. Marksmen was unable to field a team today and decided to forfeit the match 2 hours before kick off.

This is not how we wanted to win the game but we will take the 3 points either way.

I've been a bit quiet over the last few weeks but here is a quick round up.

Poor performance from us Sunday gone as we crashed out of the Sunday Cu
