This Sunday, as we all come together as friends and players for a tournament, we would like to take a moment to remember someone who meant so much to the Shields Avengers Netball Club family.

They recently lost one of their biggest supporters and a former player following a courageous battle with cancer. Their love for the club and the netball community will never be forgotten.

Before the start of the tournament, we will hold a minute’s silence in their memory. We also invite anyone who wishes to make a donation to help raise funds in their honour. Every contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for joining us in celebrating a life that touched so many and for showing your support to their family and loved ones.

Together, let’s make this a day of remembrance, community, and kindness.
