Tonight was a little different for the Roker Rangers girls! 🎯🔫
After a season of hard work, commitment and some excellent performances on the pitch, the girls swapped their football boots for laser guns.
No drills. No footballs. No fitness sessions. Just a couple of hours packed with fun, laughs, and team-building activities. The girls fully deserved a night off to make more memories together.
A fantastic night all round and another reminder that great teams aren’t just built on the pitch, they’re built through shared experiences, friendship, and the strong bonds that make this team such a special football family.

🏆 SILVER CUP CHAMPIONS! Today, Roker Rangers U14 Girls travelled to Redcar to compete in the Game of Tournaments U15s competition and what a day it turned out to be.
After a challenging start to the tournament, the girls dug deep, showed incredible character, and refused to give up.
They battled through every challenge put in front of them, including the pressure of a penalty shootout, before producing a fantastic performance in the final to secure a well deserved 2–1 victory and lift the Silver Cup.
This achievement was about far more than winning a trophy. It was a testament to the resilience, determination, belief, and togetherness that this team has shown all season.
When it mattered most, every player gave everything for each other.
I couldn’t be prouder of every single player.

🧡 BT PROMOTIONS TOURNAMENT at Flamingo Land!
Back home after the most amazing weekend spent with our incredible Roker Rangers family.
The results may not have gone our way this time, but football is about so much more than scorelines and the girls proved that all weekend long.
Playing a year up meant facing teams with girls nearly two years older than ours, yet every single girl stepped onto that pitch with courage and determination!
They never gave up, competed in every game, and played some absolutely brilliant football against very tough opposition.
The girls and their families represented Roker Rangers beautifully from start to finish.
I honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. The memories made will last a lifetime!

A tough match as expected, with Killingworth taking the lead. But the response was immense. Georgia powered in a header from a Jasmyn cross to level the score. Straight to penalties! Ella stepped up with two incredible saves, while Lily, Matilda, Georgia and Jaz all converted their penalties with confidence. Through to the final!

With no subs, fatigue began to show, but the determination and focus never dropped. Ella was outstanding in goal, pulling off some fantastic saves to keep the game level. Once again, it came down to penalties. This time Gracie joined the takers, and all five penalties were expertly converted. Another crucial save from Ella… and that was it…
