For him to try so hard, do his best work and be rewarded with 2nd place going in to today is just the best feeling.

There is A LOT to jump out there - it’s Defender Burghley Horse Trials after all but we will give it our very best shot - whatever happens I couldn’t love our little orange boy more if I tried!

We head out at 12.15 🤞🏻

Wow just over 8 years ago, we had a dream and a plan to try and start something new… something that we felt a need for… a club to teach horsemanship, pony care and above all build an empathy and understanding for our ponies. A place where children could feel safe and comfortable, a place they feel they can belong!!
It’s not always been easy and we have definitely had our fair share of difficulties…. But I hope, as I look back through old pictures, that we’ve left a positive impact on all the young people that have attended and still attend our little club…. Maybe we should have a reunion and see how grown up so many are now!!!!

Did you know a pony session can be a great way to support home education?

At The Stable Club, children learn through doing — not sitting at a desk.

📚 Maths – counting, measuring, weighing & learning about time
🔬 Science – pony anatomy, food, behaviour & nature
🌱 Life skills – responsibility, confidence & problem solving
🏃‍♀️ Physical activity – grooming, mucking out, poo picking & woodland walks
🎨 Creativity – plaiting, crafts & pony-themed activities
💚 Social & emotional skills – communication, patience, kindness & caring for animals

And the best bit? They’re learning without even realising it!

Our home education sessions are a chance to get outside, connect with ponies and enjoy a calm, hands-on learning experience. 🐴🌳

Because sometimes the best classroom has four legs! 💕
