Wow! Our under 11s went to the Leicester Tigers tour at Bognor Regis this weekend. This is their coach’s report. Well done to all!!

What a weekend. It’s hard to even put into words.!!!!!!!

After last year, we didn’t think it could get much better and then Saturday happened. And even after that, going into Sunday in the top group already felt like a huge achievement. We told the kids: just go out, give it everything, and enjoy the moment against the best teams here.

And they did exactly that.

First game—6–1 win against a strong side from Northern Ireland. Easily the best 20 minutes of rugby this team has ever played. Everything clicked. It was so good it brought Steve to tears. Just phenomenal.

Then came Ashford a team we knew would be tough after yesterday. The kids dug deep and delivered a solid 3–0 win. No fuss, just got the job done.

That set up the final game. Both teams unbeaten all weekend …We were slightly ahead in the table on fair play, but we wanted the win.

It was a battle.

With two minutes to go, we were 3–1 down. Then Charlie finished an incredible team move from one end of the pitch to the other—3–2. One minute left. We restart, Xavier kicks , we charge it down and win the penalty. We push, we push…

And with the very last play, Ellis powers over with the referee lying on the floor to check it’s grounded!!

His arm goes up !!

3–3.

Absolute pandemonium. Players, parents, coaches everyone it was just pure joy.

The character, the belief, the fight in that team when it looked like it was gone… it was something special. We couldn’t be prouder.

Honestly—what a weekend.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported.

Not really sure how we are going to top this but we will give it a good go !!
