20k Range Rover sport purchased without a pre purchase inspection from a used car dealer recommended by a garage which came with a warranty so they thought it was worth paying over book price for for peace of mind.
Post purchase inspection revealed Within 15 minutes, 20 significant mechanical and cosmetic defects identified with repair bills in excess of 10k to rectify. Usual dealer backstory but with plenty of red flags missed by the uninformed buyer.
After a strongly worded email with the findings, full refund issued, trade in car returned with some complimentary work thrown in for free.
Well worth the all expenses paid trip to save a lovely old couple from being screwed out of £15k
All that’s left is to make the car to hot to handle to ensure no one else is ripped off

Wondering what happened to the first blue blue arrow challenge truck. Last seen when put out to pasture of laning and pay and play days. Anyone know if it’s still out and about?

Still got to be the most successful road worthy challenge truck to grace the uk. Not many would trailer a set of offroad tyres to the event and drive the car back 3 hours to Kent on the road tyres after a weekend of competing 😂😂

Recently bought a defender 110 as my race car tow bus, as can get every tool in my workshop in the back and still tow 3.5T of car and larger gear behind.
When not racing I’d like to do some overlanding is there any groups that go out? Not massively keen on paying 2k for guide to just organise camping spots in Morocco and only ever done uk greenlaning trips. Half tempted to solo it, but think it would be more fun in a group
