🎉 **PCB is one year old!** 🎉
Today, 31st August, marks a whole year since I rebranded and officially started PCB.
Although I’ve been personalising clothing since 2015, PCB brought a new name, a new direction and the beginning of a completely different chapter for me.
I’ve always been quite modest about what I do. Since 2020, I’d worked quietly from a fairly small unit up the Phoenix Centre. Then, in March this year, I took a huge leap and moved into a unit nearly four times the size.
Honestly, I didn’t know whether the move would pay off but my dad encouraged me to go for it. The first six months of PCB had just kept getting better and better, and he and those closest to me helped me realise that the sky really could be the limit if I believed in myself a little more.
The move has brought me so much more than extra space. I’ve met so many lovely people, I’ve built relationships with other businesses, grown massively in confidence and made some genuine friends along the way. And I’ve even started talking to people! If you know, you know 😂
I’m extremely proud of what PCB has achieved over the past year, I’m already setting my sights even higher for the next one.
There is so much on its way that I don’t even know where to start!
I do absolutely everything on my own, the messages, emails, design, print, embroidery, ordering, packing, posting & social media (with a little help from a certain AI site for some of my adverts - but who doesn’t in 2026😅) so I’m keeping the newness that’s on its way a surprise for now, but I promise the next year is going to be the best!
The people who praise and recommend me even when I’m not in the room. The people who share my posts, mention PCB on the pitchside and promote my business even when there is absolutely nothing in it for them. I notice it all, and I’m more grateful than I could ever explain.
The past five months have been absolute mayhem, with hospitals, illnesses, broken bones and even loss of vision thrown into the mix (have kids they said 👀) But, to be completely frank, I’m still bossing it 👏🏼💁🏻♀️
So at the end of PCB’s first year, I’m proud of my business, I’m proud of the products I create and—most importantly—I’m finally proud of myself.
Here’s to PCB’s first birthday and everything that’s still to come.
**Bring on year two!** 🖤🩷💙👏🏼👏🏼
