Latest visitors to the bench on a very cold, but beautiful day.
A bench in memory of Rita & Len! Please sit, relax & enjoy the view! We would love it if you could take a photo of yourself on the bench & post it here!
Paul and I chose this location, not only because of the amazing view, but because of its links to out family. Mum worked in County Hall as a social worker for many years and loved living on the Marina. During his time as an engineer, Dad helped make some of the metal decorative structures on the marina and we believe travelled out of Swansea docks during his time with the Merchant Navy!

This year’s visit for mum’s 12th anniversary! When we got there, there was a couple sitting on the bench being filmed. It’s a documentary about the Llandarcy murders due out next March, as it’s been 50 years. The man sat on the bench was a cousin of and the last person to see one of the girls. I remember it rocking the whole community when it happened. Shame I didn’t get a shot of the filming but we are hoping the bench will make the cut.
