KATE’S 10 x 10K FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE FOR HARRY’S FUND & EXIST SKATEPARK!
Our very own co-founder Kate has set herself a huge challenge: running 10 x 10K races over 10 months to raise £1,600 for two causes incredibly close to her heart, Harry’s Fund and Exist Skatepark.
And she’s already two races down!
Kate kicked things off with the Swansea Bay 10K on 20th September and has just completed race number two in Budapest, where Ric, Nicky and Dykie also completed the Budapest Marathon! A massive congratulations to them all!
By the end of the challenge, Kate will have raced 100km, raising vital funds for two brilliant causes along the way.
Half of the money raised will support Harry’s Fund, a Pontardawe-based charity set up in memory of Harry Nye Patterson. Harry’s parents are two of Kate’s oldest friends, and the charity supports local children, young people and families through recreation, wellbeing, mental health and bereavement support.
The other half will come directly to Exist. As a not-for-profit skatepark, fundraising plays a huge part in keeping our doors open, improving our facilities and continuing to create opportunities for the community that uses our space.
Kate’s fundraising target is £1,600, and we’d love you to get behind her!
