💜🏆 H.E.R JUNIOR OPEN 2026 – WHAT A DAY! 🏆💜
What an outstanding day from start to finish!
We had such a strong field of amazing bowlers who showcased incredible skill on the green, while also proving what a fantastic group of people they are both on and off the green.
The H.E.R Junior Open 2026 gave U25 bowlers in Wales the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a fantastic crowd at Coed Bach Park, Pontarddulais. Seeing so many people come along to support them made the day even more special. 💜👏
💜 H.E.R HOUSEKEEPING
A huge thank you to H.E.R Housekeeping, who sponsored this event.
H.E.R Housekeeping is my own business, and the reason I put so much time, effort and money into this event is very simple — I want to give youngsters more opportunities within our sport.
I genuinely believe junior bowls deserves more opportunities, more events and more chances for young bowlers to experience competitive bowls in a fantastic environment with financial rewards.
I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can give something back to a sport that means so much to me, and I absolutely love being able to do it. ❤️
If I can help create opportunities for the next generation of bowlers and encourage more youngsters into bowls, then every bit of hard work is worth it.
👏 A MASSIVE THANK YOU
To everyone within Dulais Rock — your help in the days leading up to the event and throughout the day itself has been incredible. This event simply wouldn't have happened without you.
🔥 Mark & Keith, with Evan helping out at times, a massive thank you for keeping the BBQ going and making sure everyone was fed throughout the day. We are so grateful! 🍔
🌱 Steve Thomas — another huge thank you! Steve works tirelessly behind the scenes cutting and preparing the green and was there from 7am to make sure it was perfect for the day. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. 👏
A massive thank you to Freedom Leisure, Tesco and the Co-op for supporting the event. Support from local businesses and the community goes such a long way and helps us continue to create opportunities for young bowlers. 💜
📣 SUPPORT IS EVERYTHING
As I said on the day, support in bowls is crucial and has a massive impact on bowlers.
Thank you to all the families, members of the community, Graig Merthyr bowlers, Pontarddulais bowlers, friends, supporters and everyone who came along throughout the day.
The encouragement, noise and atmosphere around the green was absolutely fantastic. You all helped create a day that our young bowlers will hopefully remember for a very long time. 👏🎉
