So it’s been very quiet on the Wild Things front recently as I’ve recently started working for the St Madoc Centre in Llanmadoc, Gower as Education Ranger.

The centre aims to provide ‘time and space for exploration and growth’ and we are able to offer Forest School parties, school residentials, workshops, weddings, activity days and more! The centre has an on-site bunk house and can offer catered options for your stays. If you’re interested in a Forest School party or workshop please contact me at my work address: [email protected]

Another great couple of days in Broad Haven this week. We have run all three workshops; starting with Birds and Beasties, and ending today with Woodland Craft and Dens and Campfires. Unfortunately due to high winds we had to bypass the campfire section (safety first!) however we had great fun building a den, complete with entrance hall! :)

A massive thank you to all of the volunteers that helped over the last two weeks, without them the workshops simply couldn't run!

We had a great day of workshops yesterday. Starting off with our Birds & Beasties workshop in the morning, then onto a slightly wet Dens & Campfires sessions in the afternoon. We particularly enjoyed toasting marshmallows :)

Bore da! It's our first ever workshops today! The weathers looking changeable but we're going ahead this morning! (Will readdress for this afternoons potential storminess).

Time to get muddy!
