The bike shed. Old Town.

Hi everyone apologies for going a bit quiet. It has taken me some time to get my head around the burglary and then the incredible support I've received from everyone. I don't have the words to explain just how grateful and overwhelmed I have been by the kindness and generosity shown to me. Friends, family, customers, fellow business owners and total strangers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to being able to support even more families in the future and that's because you are helping me to rebuild. Thank you again, Matt

I am honestly blown away by all the support and donations received from everyone. And definitely a bit embarrassed by all of it.
Genuinely shocked by how many people have been in touch, offered support, tools, money etc.
It really is so kind of everyone.

And a massive shout out to Little Grazey Danny Clayton Cllr Leanne Stevenson and Helen Jones for doing what you have done, in organizing everything.

I have so many messages and comments to respond to and I hope I will be able to get back to you all.

Just in case anyone comes across these being sold off locally..!
This is what I can see has been taken. Along with the bikes.

What a great way to start the day. Come in to the sight of the workshop being broken into! Handle has literally been removed to get in to the workshop. At least two bikes have been stolen and a few moved out into the area ready to be taken and a load of my tools! Great 👍

Be honest... When was the last time you gave your bike some TLC..?
I am taking bookings for the next few weeks. So if you have any issues with your bike. Or it hasn't had a service in a while. Get in touch to book it in.

I have at least 25 bikes still to be checked over. So please keep a look out for a post about this in the New Year.

Blown away by the generosity of the public...

This has been the most successful year so far.
178 bikes have found a new home for Christmas ⛄🎁 🚲
And with quite a few leftovers and a few going out tomorrow. I estimate it will go over 200...!

A huge thank you to everyone supporting this, little, local scheme.
And a big thank you to Haydon Wick Council for the additional support and bike donation drop off.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all for that springtime service...!

After another mad day yesterday..
Today is my last day at the workshop until the new year.
I will have a handful of bikes that do not match up to any messages I have..so you are welcome to drop by between 12-4pm today.
I am on the corner of Albert Street and Church Street in Old Town. And if you text me on 07736834867.. I will come and open the door for you.

Really sorry I haven't been able to match a bike up with everyone. I tried my best to help as many as I could.
