Tadley Runners Tadley Runners are a friendly running group based in Tadley in the North East of Hampshire. New members are always welcome!

Tadley Runners is a small, friendly club dedicated to all aspects of road running including Cross Country and Ultra-Distances. Some members also take part in Duathlons and Triathlons. While some members run just for fitness reasons. The club has runners of all abilities. The club meets twice a week at 7.00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for normal runs and also some Thursdays for interval training at the Hurst Leisure Centre which provides changing and social facilities. There are a normally a range of different distances and pace at these club sessions. Keep an eye on the page or website as we sometimes meet at a pub instead ;-)

We are situated in North East Hampshire, approximately 50 miles west of London, 15 miles South West of Reading and 7 miles North of Basingstoke. New members of all abilities are always welcome

A whole mix of events this weekend for today’s Medal Monday! 🏅

Anita ran the Farnham Pilgrim marathon, which I hear is ‘slightly’ hilly!

Across the North Sea in Tampere, Finland, Tracey ran the half marathon, whilst Pete took on the full marathon.

And closer to home, Alex ran a 10K, as well as swimming and cycling the standard distances at Reading Triathlon.

Tash, Anita, Bonnie and Kate took part in the Tapyard Ultra 50k running from Ramsbury Brewery to Renegade Brewery!

At the Overton 5 mile road race Rob S, David L, Dave R, Tony, Rob H, Paula, Paul and Alex H completed the hilly course and won their colourful cloth race memento!

Well done everyone, you did amazing!

Instead of a weekend race, some of our runners decided to take on the Thruxton Relay Race midweek!

David, Tony, Stuart, Bonnie, Christine, Alice, Lindsey and Emily took part with two teams of four, each running one lap of the track.

Our runners have been busy this weekend!

Paul and Bonnie raced at the Ramsbury Gold 10k.

Sarah, Dave and Kate ran a half marathon, while Anita completed the full marathon at Saturn’s “Not Throwing Away my Shot” Hamilton themed event!

A busy week of racing for the club!

Midweek, as part of our Club Championships, Dan, Bonnie, David L, Emily C, Anna, David P, Sarah and Emily L ran in the Yateley 10K Series, with Bonnie getting a new PB!

Bonnie and Phil ran the Newbury Racecourse 5K, and Emily C ran the 10K.

Tom did a double header of the Brutal 10K on Saturday and Newbury Racecourse Half on Sunday.

And finally, Tash completed the Will Run for Cake Marathon.

Huge congratulations to Anita, Jake, Nicki and Tasj who completed the Castle to Castle 100 mile from Edinburgh to Glamis Castle.

Joe also took on and completed the Outlaw Original Triathlon, which included a 112 mile cycle and full marathon!

The Big Heat in this heat?! ☀️

Three of our runners took on the different distances at The Big Heat this weekend. Hannah took on the 17 mile route, Paula ran the marathon and Alex fought brambles in the 32 mile ultra.

Nice weather means more racing for our runners! ☀️

Paul, John, Alex, Rob H, Rob S, Anna, Kieran and Nigel ran the Renegade Brewery 10K earning a medal and a well deserved pint!

No medals for this one, but Tracey, Paula, Pete and Tom competed in the hilly Lakeland Trails event in the Lake District, with Paula coming first in her age category.
