CAMARADERIE
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV
THE WORD:
My nephew, Kobi taught me a new word last week. I came visiting and we were having a chat about an oncoming event in the town, themed "Together." So, Kobi said the theme is actually "CAMARADERIE." It was the first time I was hearing the word, surprisingly. We looked it up in the dictionary and I realized why the organisers of the event chose CAMARADERIE; Together, as the theme.
Camaraderie is a direct borrowing from the French word, which also appears as "camaraderie" or "camarade" in French, and it entered the English language in the mid-19th century. Camaraderie is a feeling of trust and friendship among a group of people who have usually known each other for a long time or gone through some kind of experience together.
When used in a sentence, one could say "when you have been climbing alone for hours, there is a tremendous sense of camaraderie when you meet another climber."
As a believer, when you go to the mountain or camp to pray and you come across a brother who has come to pray like you, that feeling you get is camaraderie.
Camaraderie is a gift from God, a bond that strengthens us in life’s joys and trials. The writer of Ecclesiastes, our anchor scripture reminds us that we are not meant to walk alone as believers. True camaraderie, whether among friends, family, or brothers and sisters in faith brings encouragement, support, and resilience. When we stumble, a friend lifts us up. When we face challenges, a companion stands with us. And when we celebrate, shared joy multiplies.
The fellowshipping together we share with brethren is camaraderie. That is why Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to forsake the gathering together of the saints, especially as the "day" of Jesus' return approaches.
It is in camaraderie we achieve koinonia. Which is the “threefold cord” with God as the third Person binding us as one. Camaraderie rooted in faith is unbreakable, for it draws from the eternal source of love and unity.
I think God has given us a theme for our October global prayer walk, because it is in a season, and time like this that we need camaraderie.
You will succeed!
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Matthew 18:20 KJV
Enjoy grace this week, I call you blessed!

WHEN GRACE SPEAKS
When grace speaks, the world falls silent, captivated by the elegance and wisdom woven into her words. Each syllable drips with a gentle authority that commands attention, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. She embodies a calm strength, delivering messages that resonate deeply within the hearts of those fortunate enough to listen.
In her discourse, grace reveals truths hidden beneath layers of pretense. Her voice—a soothing balm—reaches into the depths of human experience, encouraging vulnerability and connection. She speaks not just to convey information, but to inspire reflection and contemplation. Each pause in her speech is a moment for the audience to absorb her insights, to ponder their implications, and to recognize the beauty of shared understanding.
Grace possesses the remarkable ability to articulate complex ideas simply, breaking them down into digestible pieces. Her eloquence is not marked by grandiosity; instead, it flows from authenticity and a genuine desire to uplift. When grace speaks, she invites others to join a dialogue, fostering a sense of community that bridges divides and nurtures empathy.
Her words have the power to heal, to mend rifts created by misunderstanding and dissent. In her presence, harsh realities soften, as she weaves narratives that acknowledge pain while simultaneously illuminating pathways to hope and renewal. Listening to grace is akin to basking in the warmth of sunlight after a long winter; it instills a belief in possibility.
In times of turmoil, when the cacophony of discord reigns, grace emerges as a beacon of clarity and order. She reminds us that kindness can triumph over animosity and that compassion is a language understood by all. Through her, the essence of humanity is celebrated, revealing the interconnected threads that bind us.
Moreover, grace speaks not only through her voice but also through her actions. The integrity she embodies becomes a guiding light, illustrating that true wisdom is demonstrated in the way we treat one another. Her speeches resonate long after the final word is spoken, inspiring listeners to adopt a gentle approach to life and to nourish the seeds of grace within themselves.
As we reflect on what it means when grace speaks, let us acknowledge the transformative power of gentility and true understanding. In embracing this essence, we can foster environments where dialogue flourishes, and where the values of empathy and respect prevail. In a world that often prizes volume over substance, may we learn to value the quiet strength that comes when grace takes the stage.

A NOTCH HIGHER (3)
A WALK OF FAITH
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV
THE WORD:
In STRIVE, we THRIVE!
From birth, Jabez was named "pain" by his own mother. What could be more bad? But he didn't allow that name to stick. Jabez made a passionate prayer to God and the bible records that God answered him and granted him his request.
In contemporary times, we have seen similar change of fate in individuals who were written off by man. You too, can re-enact the same story and reposition your life for greatness. As we WALK and PRAY today, ask, believing that God has done it already.
Pray fervently and open your mind to opportunities. They might not come in ornaments of gold, but in them lies your lifting. Raise the bar; go a notch higher from the failures of yesterday. Someone failed in all the elections he participated but won the presidency. After each failures, he went for a higher position until he contested for the apex position and won.
August will favour you!
Be strong and courageous, you will succeed!
"Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me."

Dare to be more than ordinary... Dare to be exceptional... Dare to be different and the world will never forget you. Nobody will applaud you at the formative days, but they will appreciate your courage and tell tales of your deeds.
Walk the lonely path of gethsemane for a crown awaits you in glory. Walk, pray, pray and walk!

LOOK AND LIVE
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live."
Numbers 21:8 KJV
THE WORD:
Walking with God is all about "trust and obedience," because He is going to be giving you instructions that may look ridiculous to human understanding.
A king was to face a multitude of army, He instructed him to put singers in the front and play musical instruments while marching to battle.
Snakes afflicted people in the wilderness, He instructed that a bronze serpent be molded, hung on a tree and whoever look will live.
For mankind to be redeemed, He sent His Son to be slain on the cross and He said "whosoever that will look and believe in the finished work, the same will be saved."
It doesn't matter how ridiculous the world may see it, just look and you will live! Follow His instructions and you will never miss the road!
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
