🥊🇬🇧 What a fantastic evening!

We were honoured to be invited to the England v Wales Elite Dual at Lympstone Commando Training Centre.

It was a real privilege for our coaching team and some of our boxers to experience such a high-level night of boxing in an incredible setting. We also had the added treat of watching some great local support bouts featuring the Royal Marines and Western Counties boxers which made the evening even more special.

A brilliant experience for everyone involved, and a great opportunity to watch some top-class boxing, meet some fantastic people and enjoy the atmosphere.

A huge thank you for the invitation — it was a pleasure to be there. 🥊💪England Boxing

🥊 Great day of sparring for Taunton ABC! 🥊

17 from the club travelled down to Sturminster Newton Boxing Club for a quality sparring session.

With our home show fast approaching and the upcoming championships on the horizon, it was a great opportunity to get some valuable rounds in and put the hard work into practice.

🔥 Some really good rounds on display, with plenty of quality boxing!

Meanwhile, it was also a busy session back at our gym in Taunton, with the rest of the team getting their work in.

The hard work continues! 💪🥊

🥊 Mini Hitter & Junior Boxer of the Month 🥊

Last night we had the pleasure of presenting our Mini Hitter and Junior Boxer of the Month awards! 🏆

⭐ Mini Hitter of the Month – Tommy ⭐
A huge well done to little Tommy! 👏 Tommy is our youngest member and never misses a session. He works incredibly hard every time he steps through the doors and always gives it his best. He’s also a little cheeky chap who keeps us all entertained! 😂🥊

⭐ Junior Boxer of the Month – Harry ⭐
A massive congratulations to Harry! 👏 Harry has only recently moved up into the juniors after showing some fantastic hard work, commitment and a real willingness to learn. He’s taken the step up in his stride and continues to put the effort in every session.

We’re incredibly proud of both of you. Keep working hard, keep learning and most importantly, keep enjoying your boxing! 🥊💪

Well deserved, boys! 🏆👏

A very busy session last night in our mini
hitters and juniors class with 27 across both classes, with a few missing!!

We are now putting a cap on this session to ensure the kids in both classes receive the correct coaching and space to train.

Those that have contacted us recently and who we’ve replied too will still have there space honoured.

Anybody else who would like to train with the mini hitters or juniors class will be placed on our waiting list.

We do still have a few places left in our youth and senior classes if you would like to train with us.

Thanks for understanding - Taunton abc

🥊 Western Counties Finalist – Artur 🥊

A good performance from Artur today in the U70kg Western Counties Final, taking on a tall, rangy opponent from The Truth.

Artur got off to a slow start in the opening round, giving his opponent the edge and leaving himself with work to do. He came out with a much higher pace in the second and really stepped it up in the third, putting his opponent under constant pressure and dominating the final round.

Unfortunately, the slow start in the opening round left Artur with ground to make up, and despite his strong finish, it wasn’t quite enough to take the decision. He narrowly lost on a split decision.

His U70kg category started with a stacked field of 11 entries, making it a great achievement to get to the Western Counties Final. 👊

Plenty to take away, plenty to be proud of, and another valuable experience under the belt.

Well done Artur 🥊🏆

Onwards and upwards! 💪🔥

We wish his opponent the best of luck as he progresses through to the national stages 🙏
