A fantastic day at the Bishops Lydeard Girls Tournament today!

It was great to see so many girls from across the Taunton area competing, enjoying the game, and creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day.

Both of our Taunton Talent U10 Girls teams were outstanding, showing great teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship. A special congratulations to our Blues team, who finished as runners-up and brought home a well-deserved trophy! 🏆⚽

We’re incredibly proud of all the girls for the way they represented the club.

A big thank you to Bishops Lydeard Association Football Club for championing girls football in Taunton and hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable tournament.

We’re backing our coach Dylan Fearn who is taking on a 50km ultra challenge in aid of Crohn’s disease — a condition that has recently affected one of his young players close to his team.

This is a serious endurance challenge, and he’s aiming to raise as much as possible for a cause that now sits close to the team.

A fantastic day for our teams at the Exeter City Women’s Youth Football Tournament! ⚽️

Our U10 Girls took part in their very first tournament together as a team. As the only all-girls side in their age group, they faced a tough challenge against strong opposition but showed tremendous determination, resilience, and teamwork throughout the day. We’re incredibly proud of every player for their effort and attitude.

Our U12 Mixed Team, made up of 6 girls and 2 boys, were outstanding from start to finish. Playing excellent football and working brilliantly as a team, they went on to win the tournament! 🏆

Well done to all of our players for representing Taunton Talent Centre with such enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The future is looking bright! 💙⚽️

Another brilliant sunny day at Taunton School for Day 2 of Taunton Talent Centre camp ☀️⚽️

The players brought great energy again — lots of smiles, hard work, and quality football across the sessions. We’ve been focusing on developing confidence on the ball, decision making, and enjoying the game in a positive environment.

We’re back again tomorrow for Day 3, and we still have a few spaces available for last-minute bookings. If your child wants to join in, develop their skills, and have a great day of football in the sunshine, get in touch to secure a place.

A brilliant day of football today at Taunton School with our Taunton Talent Centre players ⚽🔥

On a very hot day, we adapted our sessions by getting the football in early, making sure the children could perform at their best in the conditions. We then finished with a series of fun, competitive games that brought out great energy, teamwork, and effort from everyone involved.

Despite the heat, the players worked hard, stayed focused, and showed real attitude throughout a challenging session in a scorcher of a day ☀️👏

Great team effort from our mixed U11/U12 girls squad over the weekend, reaching the semi-finals of the U13 section at the Dawlish Tournament!

The girls had to overcome tough physical opposition and extremely hot conditions, but showed great teamwork, resilience, and determination throughout the tournament.

Proud of every player for the way they worked together and competed as a team.

Well done to Dawlish FC for a very well organised tournament and a great weekend for everyone involved ⚽👏
