🎯 TOUR MODE just got a lot more like the real thing.

If you haven't tried it yet: Tour Mode is a full pro darts season that moves when YOU throw. Grab your board, play your matches dart by dart (or enter your visit totals), and chase a Tour Card through the Order of Merit, the Premier Nights league, the Grand Prix, the Global Slam and more. Pick your level from Beginner to Elite, so the field is a fair fight whatever you average.

🎤 MEDIA DAY
Before the big TV events, the press want a word. Go confident, humble, fiery, cheeky or full dead bat. Your answers make the news ticker, the rival you call out will fire back, and the papers check afterwards whether you actually backed it up. Don't want it? Skip it or switch it off. It never touches your match.

📰 A WORLD THAT KEEPS MOVING
News ticker, ranking arrows, head-to-head records with your rivals (beat someone three times and they'll come back for revenge), and players who age and retire as the seasons roll on.

🎯 THIS WEEKS UPDATE ON DART STARTER 🎯

Big update this week, and it's all about helping you understand your own game.

👀 What could we be working on that a heatmap would be beneficial for?

🔥 Heatmaps: finish a game and you'll now see a dartboard showing where every dart landed. Hot spots glow red, so you can spot straight away if you're drifting into the 5 or the 1. It's in the Live Scorer and over 20 games, with a heatmap for each player. Just enter your darts one at a time to fill it in.

📊 Accuracy boards: the practice games (Around the Board, Doubles, Trebles, Bob's 27, JDC Challenge, Halve-It and Shanghai) now finish with a board shaded by your hit rate on every target. Green is where you're strong, red is the double you need to drill.

🎯 A proper dartboard in The Chalker: the board now looks like the real thing, with sisal grain, wire spider and true-size bull. Every dart stays visible, even three in the same bed.

🏆 Darts vs Bot leaderboard: win a game and your 3-dart average goes on the board. There are separate boards for Easy, Medium and Hard, 501 and 301, all-time and weekly. Sign in to post your score and see if you can top the week.

🎯 NEW GAME: Clockwork Countdown 🎯

Two pub classics, one match. Clockwork Countdown starts as Around the Board and finishes as 501, and how well you play the first half decides how hard your opponent's second half is.

How it works:
Both players work round the board in order, 1 to 20, then the bull. The moment you hit the bull, your 501 leg starts there and then, even if your opponent is still stuck on six. First to check out on a double wins the lot.

Why every dart counts:
Miss the number you need and that dart doesn't just go to waste. Every number you hit by mistake is added up, and it all comes straight off your opponent's 501.
Aiming for 3 and catching 19 and 17? You've just knocked 36 off their leg. Have a scrappy run round the board and you could hand them a short finish. Go round clean and they're left staring at the full 501.
So the first half isn't a warm-up. It's where the match is won and lost. Stay tidy, hit what you're aiming at, and make them earn every point.

Fancy something gentler? There's an Easier option where your misses come off your own score instead.
